First steps in icon making

Hi, there, guys.

First, I do want to note that I do not plan to get really serious with icon making. I started it because I needed specific icons for a project of mine, and I'm even using pre-made icons, upon which I work (http://opengameart.org/content/700-rpg-icons).

Then, I got more involved, and decided to redo the attribute icons just for fun. Basically this is a re-paint of the icons from the set above. What I'm asking for is opinion. I know that those are not pure author works, and I don't need them to be.

Here are the first three - as I said, a redo of the attribute icons.

the heart should be changed into a gauntlet or fist or something, to make it icon for a strength hero, but overall, its a nice icon...
