Well it's totally up to you, it's just that they hurt my eyes ^^ maybe better males are nice too, never tried it though. These mods make humans look like humans, not some weird things that just came out of an in-game cartoon. IMO the original models and textures don't really fit the level of graphics.

meh, I'm playing a game, not watching porn - I'm not even getting why ppl make mods like nude pack and the XXX animation packs... if I'm using a body mod pack I'm always trying to find some with underwear, just for the sake of high-poly body meshes. I feel sometimes that Bethesda's modellers are either lazy or a bunch of no-goods (apart from the dragons, those are nice...)

Oh, and forgot to mention the ApachiiSkyHair mod, since the vanila hairs look pretty weird on the improved characters :D

lol, you know, there is a no-makeup version of that mod ^^

And I don't think battle-hardened warriors have to look like ogres...
Oh, and I'd use another hair mod, the only thing that matters is that it replaces those 10 poly hair meshes and the 64x64 hair textures >_< TBH, I havent played for a few months, so I'll go look around for another hair mod :D

Do you play because of their look, I remember playing Morrowind and enjoying it... I think mods should just add things that developers did not add, or you don't like some of the game mechanics you can change them by modding them.

I do agree that the Body/Texture mods are making Bodies look better, but some of them are just to FF style, and they do not fit the Lore and the World of Tamriel.

I actually... tried to play my second character...

I can't replay games very well. In the sense that it gets boring because I remember everything I've done. So just doing the same thing, but differently, doesn't work for me as much.

Well, I kinda did everything except build a house, get a family and play Dragonborn DLC.

I tried playing Morrowind... the visual upgrade lags my PC hard, and without it... well... it's still okay looking. But I guess my biggest gripe is that I won't leave home for too long of a period.

The whole point of having a new character is doing things you never did with your old one, if not why dont you consider playing Morrowind/Oblivion ?

Well, for me I try to do anything and everything possible the first time I play - spending hours upon hours due to it. However if a game offers differences that I cannot experience with the same character or in case of the elder-scrolls series also mods to change it all - then I replay them as well.

I've never been a fan of replaying Skyrim since it's just the exact same thing again and again. I rather perfer Dragon Age Origins even though it's 40 hours per game instead of 180 you can still replay it and have it not being the same thing again and again.

I take it you do not approve of Elder Scrolls online? I believe it will end just like every other MMORPG that has challanged WoW. With that said I do not think WoW is a good game even though I think all the years of development has given WoW an advantage over the other games. To bad only that MMO's are a dying breed.

But for SPRPG games like Dragon Age where your chooises have impacts in the sequals really interests me.

Rather skeptical non wow mmorpgs and im dazzled at how they're going to configure the gameplay, but let us all hope and pray that TES Online will defeat WoW for that will be a great day for gamers everywere

I believe that Elder Scrolls Online will be better in WoW when it comes to questing and story telling since they use new engines but PvE will be the same in both games, it always will be. No game will ever alone stand the chanse to kill WoW even though I believe that in a quantanty they might have a chanse since one game can not possibly hope to apeal to all gamers. So many games have tried to kill WoW and none has succeded.

Rift
Star Wars the Old Republic
Guild Wars II
Conan
Lord of the Rings Online
and many, many more.

Well theres kinda of a reason for that, i mean LotR and connan are both based off movies and if those games were released at the time of the movie they were based on, they would have done better. Starwars old rebulic kind of shot itself in the foot, because the gameplay takes several thousaind years before the movies, the game may not be called Star Wars at all, theres nothing besides a few copywrighted names to connected to the popular movies.Dont really know about Rift or GW but i guess that speeks for itself.

We need to realise that WoW needs to die, its holding the gaming industry down and blizzard's greedy asses. When it dies developers wont need to compete with it so the games will be diffrent aka better. Also without WoW the CEOs at blizzard will need to find a way to finance the milions they need for their cocaine habbits, thus they will start milking us for Warcraft 4.

Now the reason i belive TES:Online might kill WoW is because of how strong the game franchise is, both in product quality and popularity. If they properly adapt the gameplay for multiplayer - which concerning howmany diffrent ways there are to play a TES game - will be very succsessful.

Well GW2 actually kinda succeeded in killing... Guild Wars 1... :D GW2 has the potential to destroy WoW, but the problems are that WoW has a lot bigger world (partially thanks to having 9 years head-start or so) and that WoW has a quite loyal player community (and a quite loyal base of Blizzard fans). To make them leave WoW, you need a game that gives EVERYTHING WoW does (including world size and the world itself, since ppl grew fond of the world). For this, only a game with the same name has the capability, aka. the WIP WoW2. Mostly because ppl grew fond of the game. They don't want a copy of the game - they want this game, with those classes, those races, that world, those enemies and allies, and better graphics and gameplay.

Maybe we should not wander too off-topic this discussion was about Elder Scrolls.

Good idea, even more so since you took major part in bringing it off-topic

And just to keep it off-topic I do not for a second agree that Dragon Age have more replayability than for instance Skyrim, other than the part I referred to earlier, where constrictions apply that forces one to play again in order to see it all. However Dragon Age did only offer slight changes pending on view - compared to overall story arc one would experience, however agreed about different "paths" so to speak. This however is where I believe Skyrim and more open ended RPG's differ and do offer replayability, unless of course they play like I do, since one can easily just play the main story and ignore the rest, and then by replaying it get a multitude of stories without ever following the same story (until one starts doing it of course), hence one is able to place a lot more hours into that instead.

But still I also truly enjoyed dragon Age, and is a major fan of the Mass effect games, even if Bioware have annoyed the heck out of me with their latest expansions.

But back to the elderscrolls, I am still hoping to see something more like shivering isles, just made with more notice and part of the true "reward" at the end. Something unlike how for instance Oblivion only gave and armor and a reward in form of talk about it.. without it ever actually happening - damn wasted hours trying to see if something actually would. Skyrim at least delivers on many of those points, however is lacking in the aspect of truly connecting things, similar as to how Dragon Age 2 forgot to consider the importance of being a mage given the story. Hence I mean things like guards having intimate knowledge of one, or being unable to do things which the character should easily be able to do because it was scripted that way, without considerations for potential skills already acquired. Mass effect had a somewhat in between, by offering extra options to fix or do things pending on skills, yet didn't for instance allow the player if bionic to carry the shield in the second game, even if one would be stronger bionic, and similarly didn't give any specific bonus for using a stronger bionic than another (as judged from each persons background history).

But yea we are all waiting for the truly epic freechoice, multiple outcome game to arrive. But until then I am fairly happy with skyrim and its mods.

Also I'd love to see a bit of how Gothic 2 handled the end-game items in ESO. I mean that there the end-game items (dragon armor, dragon weapons) were hard to get and indeed felt powerful and legendary, not like those Daedric and Dragon armours you can get in Skyrim - the difference is hardly sensible, mostly they are more of a new skin than a real upgrade. In Gothic people talked legends of those epic armours, so by the point you got them, you felt really like "Oh yea, I got this legendary weapon everyone acknowledges with awe". In Skyrim, those armours just a "Meh, another +2 armour upgrade". They don't really feel all that epic. And even after you get a Daedric artifact, you can just make a better weapon with a smithing and enchanting of 50 >_<

I think this is something that is originated from MMORPGs, and in Skyrim it was not really necessary to make like this, since the player is a unique entity in the world - and as such, he can be given unique items with kinda absurd numbers (such as the ones in the Deadly Dragons Armory - those items feel epic and unique, albeit need more lore integration IMHO - you should acquire the knowledge to create those items, not just know how to make them).

In case of ESO (and any other MMORPGs) creating these unique items is kinda impossible, but there are two ways to achieve something similar:
1) Create extremely powerful artifacts that are slightly overpowered compared to the normal high tier items, but taking like half a year to get. These are not unique, just really rare, but achieved the same way by everyone.
2) Create a creative AI that can generate and balance these super powerful items and creates unique and long questlines or other ways to achieve them (this would take quite a long time or a genius, but would result in extremely unique items)

I'd like to see the second option in the (hopefully not so distant) future in some game - a way to distinguish yourself from those millions of players by wearing a really unique set of items. To feel the feeling when you walk past the people and they see something on you that they never seen before, nor will after, and cry out in awe. ^^

Too be completely fair I only compared WoW too Elder Scrolls Online and then people people decided too go all about WoW. It breaks my heart too see you frame me as an antagonist. :D

Mods might be enough for some people but I've never actually enjoyed content mods, now it's true that I like mods that improve the appearance of the game. That's why I perfer Dragon Age Origins over Skyrim.

Also I encountered too many bugs in my original play through of Skyrim too really give it a perfect 10/10 score.

I admit their DLC is pretty sweet and it's something they've handled verry nicely especially since you're able too buy most of their DLC at GameStop.

Hehe, well my all time favorite part of the Elderscrolls is still the Shivering Isles expansion

But yea, replay it with mods.

Oh and a thing both discussed games need: better difficulty, meaning that both in Skyrim and in Dragon Age one could easily find the way to just about kill everything with ease and almost no effort.

Yea Skyrim is the worst in this regard since you need to set it too the highest difficulty for it too get even a litle challanging.
