Efx for n units

Hello

I created a spell based on WoW's Frost Nova. The spell works well, but the only thing I have problem with is the effect on freezed units.
Since the spell is AoE and targets every enemy unit around the caster, I dunno how many of the enemies will actually be there.

I was thinking of using:
a) a special effect "freezing breath <target>", however each needs name so I can get rid of it when the spell ends. But I dunno how to name every special effect when I don't know how many units will be affected.

b) a dummy unit with the "freezing breath <target>" model. However I don't want it to be targetable, so I need the locust ability for it. But the locust ability prevents me from targeting those dummies via "pick every unit" action.

As for the dummies, does anybody know how to set them to use only the normal size? (there are three sizes of this spell efx - *unnamed*, medium and large... If possible, I want to use only the *unnamed*)

Well, instead if further explaining I'll give an example :grin:

Look in your W3 editor and find the "Demon Hunter (Demon Form)" unit.
It is normal model of Demon Hunter, however it is somehow set that when you place that unit in your map, only the "alternate" animations are played (Stand Alternate; Attack Alternate; etc.).
