    The Novel

    The novel will be set on a fictional earth, Juno, which in currently under the brink of civil war. Vincent Krey, our main protagonist, is a determined freelance mercenary and is on a quest to find his long lost sister, Tera. She was presumably dead after a biological incident but turns out she's still out there. As Krey uses Peacekeeper intelligence to track down his sister but later he would be caught in between the rebellion and the authorities. Marking his role on determining the outcome of the war

    The novel will focus on several lore aspects for EchoStorm including a story based narrative, we hope everybody enjoys this novel as much as I enjoyed writing and creating it.

    To answer your question, no it will not have series of campaigns, rather, I would work on series of stories regarding EchoStorm, but no playable campaign would be in the making.

    oh i see...and yer welcome, i shall be a proud supporter of Faction wars and any successors it shall have.
    EDIT: also i'd be very willing to be a storyline writer, however my availability varies every now and then, so sorry if i'm not availible sometimes.i'll probably be back later..

    Well the role of the story writer is to be an assistant of mine. ^ ^
    Basically you'll have to read the entire story, criticize me and tell me what you think, I'll be happy to accept any criticism, also, I would probably release a WiP soon.

    Wouldn't limitless army cause lag? A limit will also allow players to think strategically.

    I have issues with that, but with high costs of units and stuffs and scarce resources, players can't just spam units everywhere, so they would think on how to build their army wisely. But in any case this plan didn't worked, I would be implementing a limit once again.

    Well I got very excited after seeing the model, so I decided to make a quick sneak peek about it.

    The Soldier is basically retains is role as a versatile infantry unit, having the ability to shoot both ground and air units. While this is not a finish version, its current skills are only 2, Defensive Stance which works like a Defend Footman ability like on Faction Wars, and the First Aid Syringe, when applied it would automatically heals up its life points.

    The new inventory as you can see is the Cog System, werein it works like a WC 3 item system but any unit could utilize it, but only 1 cog per unit, there's also a new implementation of secondary resources, the mine like picture should explain enough, these resources are not gather, but rather scavenge. They're scarce but supply conversion is available.

    Any opinions about the latest features would be welcome. :grin:

    also, are soldiers gonna retain their old price?? also i think first aid syringe should use all mana the soldier has..

    All units will have higher costs, and there will be no mana implemented as of the moment. Only cooldown, because we don't want to create something too similar to WC 3.
