Displaying icons in dialogs ????

You can't have icons in dialogs.

That isn't a dialog. It is an illusion. It moves the camera over to some rect of black space. Then it creates a border using destructables. The icons are also destructables with a replaceable texture ID. You just need to create one destructable for each icon you want to use. Then you have an invisible plane that serves as a trackable to detect when a player hovers or clicks on an icon.

Those systems are generally referred to as full-screen interfaces, or FSI for short. They take up the whole screen, so if you have a game with ongoing gameplay, it might not be the best idea. It is good for ORPG's or campaigns where you have enough rest time to spend talents, equip gear, etc.
