This map has been based on the Diablo III Gameplay Video. You may even recognise a few of the in-game events if you've seen it! Please remember that this is a beta version, and may still contain bugs. Anyone can host this online, just let me know if you find any major flaws in the game :)

Nice, i really am a fan of this map, well there is a problem, when you find cain he can die fast and easy. Why not make a quest to deliver him to some village or something? The game is really easy, i won the game in singel player with barbarian....

Village... It would be wierd to make a whole village to help cain. Also, i dont think there is so much place for that. BUT why not make a quest to help him out of the dungeon so he teleport back to he's hometown becouse since he cant teleport far when he's inside the dungeon, or somthing like that.

IS THE GAME to easy.. Then you used "Whosyourdaddy"... Stop saying that "its to easy i soloed whit BARBARIAN" Try another damn hero.

This map was made for more then one player i think and also, i think Diablo 3 is made to make single player possible, so whats wrong whit making it possible to complete it in single player?
Ever played Diablo 2? i completed it in single player pretty damn easy.

All the heroes are unbalanced, the only good hero is the babarian, all the others kind'a weak.

Well, not really. They are good if you know how to play them.
And like i said befor, i think this was made for multiplayer.
A healer is good in multiplayer, also a range is, and a tank.
And that is the three heros. ;) I think that was how blizzard was thinking when they released the 3 classes. "tank" "Mage" "Healer", Sounds good to me.
And one more thing, cloudwolf said that the handicap was in the early beta stage, so its far away from done. :wink:

He both good at killing swarms of weak monsters and bosses. I took the whole map out single-handed with the babarian, while i died several times with the other classes.

Barbarian do kick ass, and well, try multiplayer, much more fun. I promisse.
Its hard to trigger a map for multi and single player at the same time, that makes the barbarian imba. :/

Aye :) Its definately much easier to solo with the barbarian, however, im working on the other classes :D This game is vert much multipayer orrientated at present for playing on bnet. There are some difficulty triggers that change with the number of players, but I definately need some more single player support :)

Also, I need to do is make the other 2 heroes slightly better, but increase the overall diificulty of the map as well to cope :)

Expect this stuff in 1.08 :D

The graphics and ambiance are awesome. I had a problem with the hotkey when using witch doctor's skill. (Summoning Skill) It could be improved in the game play as well I suppose. Very enjoyable.

Apparently no one else did either, or just didnt say anything :D I'll fix that for 1.08 as well =]

I didnt mention becouse i used the prices to see how good the items was, it fit very well on some of the items. But i was wrong :nw:
And when i think of it, wouldent it be cool if you have item levels? Not required level but a level that shows how good the item is.

That is SICK dude. right now, i love the guy who made this. Its the best inferface ive seen for a while, AND ITS DIABLO O.O
I couldent even imagine that, and im seriuse whit what im saying right now.

And how they were in Diablo II!
Like the "7% better chance of dropping mana-globes" or "Gives you a 3% chance on each attack to send a level 1 Ancient Missiles"

With enough fun item's dropping randomly by trigger, you could make each game different, and unique!

Just my opinion and idea..

An other great thing I discovered with this map: First I played with my friend over lan, we managed to die zero times by planing each attack. On B-net 6-players, some died three times before we got to the forest :xxd: Tactics, GJ!

You just made me think for the first time today.

A list of what im thinking of:
X% more experience from creatures
X% better change of dropping common items
X% better change of dropping globes
X% to drain X% of the creatures health and convert it to mana on killing blow.
+X level to X skill. ( Would be awesome for class items ( I can make this if you want =)) )
+X level to all skills.
Random Enchantment ( when player equips the item for the first time, it will get a random stat )
+X skill Point(s) ( Gives you one ablility/spell/skill point )

I can add more, thats one of the "pop-ups" that appeared in my head :wink:

You got that DAMN RIGHT. When i played online, i think some people didnt even know that we was a team. they run stright out and dies, they only heal themselves, they dont plan the boss fights, they just run to the boss room and makes us all die.

I was wondering if you could study the spawn system in Left4Dead. It was amazing and created a more enjoyable gameplay experience.

It was able to test players strength and stressfactor to decide the spawn strength/size etc.

This would be awesome for your map.

Here is a Diablo 3 Info thread i made a while ago on a forum, some stuff may be outdated, and some may be new for some of you here, since i mailed some of my questions to Blizzard and they are not on diablo3.com

UI
Inventory System:
The bag system will be pretty much like WoW, the items will now only take one slot each and some items will be stackable. The bag contains 30 slots. You will also be able to equip more bags so you can carry many more items then befor.
They also improved the sytem so when you drag over an item, lets say a weapon you will see your equiped weapon at the side of it so you can compare them easier. That was also taken from WoW.
Now insted of only showing the weapons attack speed and damage you will see the dps ( damage per second ) so its easier too see what weapon that do the highest damage. And again, its taken from WoW.
The equipment slots is: Head, Shoulders, Neck, Hands, Chest, Leggings, Waist, Feet, Finger R/L, Weapon 1/2.

Mini-Map:
The mini-map is on the top right of your screen, it shows name of the area that you are in right above it.

Buffs:
The buffs you have is shown at the bottom left side of the screen.

Mana Bar:
In Diablo 3 all classes will not have a mana bar. Melee classes like Barbarian will insted have a so calld "Frenzy Bar". I think it will work pretty much like the Rage or Energy bar in WoW.

Combat Log:
In Diablo 3, when you attack an enemy, the damage you do will appear above the enemies head. This is a great change from Diablo 2 where you could not see the damage you do on an enemy when fighting fight.

Rarity:
Shows you what kind of Npc/Enemie you are targeting

Quests
Diablo 3 quests will be different from Diablo 2, there will be many more quests and they should be more fun. The quests will also have a better tie to the game then befor.
Blizzard: "We will continue to insert as many quests as we like, until we feel that we’ve got a good amount and there aren’t too many. We want to concentrate on quests that are really fun and contribute to the game. If I have to come up with a number, I’d say there’s probably twice as many quests, but I wouldn’t nail it down like that. It could still be more or less at this point."

Health System
It is known that the healthsystem will change in Diablo 3, and it will not be like in Diablo 3, where its all about who could carry/drink most pots.
Insted enemies will drop healing orbs.
Blizzard: "Health orbs heal a percentage of life, so the more health the character has, the stronger the effect of the orb. We’ve implemented a system in order to accomplish this. At the moment, we intend healing orbs to heal 15% of health. So if you have 1,000 health, the orb regenerates 150 health, and if you have 100 health, the orb regenerates 15. On the other hand, we can have it so certain monsters, like bosses, drop several orbs, or drop orbs as its own health dwindles. So for example, there can be a chance for an orb to drop every time his health drops by 5%, or force orb drops at certain points in the fight. There are also opportunities for orbs to influence objects or skills. Orbs don’t fill life instantly, they regenerate life."

Achievements
Diablo 3 will have Blizzards new Achievement system when it will be released, where you will be able to reach different goals such as, destroyed bosses, killed monsters and explored new areas.

Leveling system
You gain levels by killing monsters and gain experiences. New Levels unlock new features like new abilites, spells, talents and items.
Blizzard is planing to make 100 levels in Diablo 3 when there was 99 levels in Diablo 2.

Skill Rune System
The skill rune system is a new system created for Diablo 3. You will be able to attach a rune to skills. This will change the ability of the skill you attach it to. You will be able to change a normal spell like “teleport” to a spell that does damage byadding a Striking rune to it.
Known Runes:
Multistrike Rune
Electrocute
Striking rune

Hardcore Mode
If you die in hardcore mode your character will die forever and you cannot continue to play with it. Hardcore mode is taken from diablo 2.

Waypoints
In Diablo 3 you will be able to teleport to existing players from a so calld "Waypoint" that is in the towns. This will make it easier to reach them.

I have a suggestion, make creeps come from the...how could i say this...from the fog, ah what the hell...this really is a weird post isn't it? nah... what you need to fix is....?? i really dont know what should you fix, well the interface icons wont fit with the new and all mighty interface that you made, make the icons(attack, hold position etc...) red color like these: Warcraft III Icons

Edit: I really like the info you asked from Blizz, but that world map? it's so big like wow...the game will be bigger then wow in my option. I dont know what will cloudwolf do when he see this.

eeeyup :D Its now in a very playable stage. The only things that need doing now is balancing really :) and fixing any bugs that come up.

However, I'm also going to create a brand new set of skills for each hero to make them more like the real deal :) Thats one of the reasons ive been putting a team together to help me do this :)



In other news, Ive got the new interface to work ^^ and the best part is it hardly adds to the map size :D

Before I upload the new version, ive got to make some bug fixes so it will probably be on the hive sometime tonight :)

OMFG, the interface looks so damn good ingame =D=D
I found things that looks messy in the interface, when you have a hero selected, it looks wierd behind the item slots :(
But the new icons looks way better then the old ones, now it fits in better.

This is where the inventory system comes in! Get a inventory system, one of the ones that makes you appear on a screen whit a big inventory and blah blah, make all items to power-ups, and when you take them, they get to that inventory, and you acces the inventory by a spell, that would make it possible to remove the inventory. I can explain better if you dont understand-

Also, at the minimap on your interface, you see two black bars over and under, cant you add a border or somthing at those two spots? ;)

The formating button on the right side of the minimap doesnt have a button behind it.

Swap between a unit whit inventory and one whitout, and you will see that a part of the interface moves. "no need to change but it looks kinda strange."

Post Fury is based on Unholy Aura, right? The Unholy Aura Buff appears on my character x)

I just noticed somthing, look up in the right corner (ingame). It looks wierd, its like "look im in nowhere."

In the map The Kingdom of Kaliron: Eastern Kingdom, there is a custom inventory system where you can equip yourself with 16 items at a time and hold other items. It's very unique. There is also a different stat system unlike the usually Warcraft III strength, agility, and intelligence.

Is there by any chance this map will get something similar to that? There's a video showing those features on youtube.

It'll by pretty awesome if there was a pop-up skill tree and you can drag and drop skills onto the defaulted 6 slots item slot to use. But of course, this is impossible X_X

There is a problem!!! the interface is dark it self, but the interface icons are so bright, then it makes the interface look bad, and another suggestion make the hp red color, green doesn't fit.

All that is old stuff, sorry : /
He talked about that in the Interface thread he made already.

Damn, I nearly soloed the whole thing, stupid voidwalker...

There is 3 bosses after him. And its like impossible to kill the last two yourself, so not worth to try. But i dont understand why everyone play singleplayer?.... Play online.

This is a 32 slot bag that contains all the equipement that diablo 3 will have, expect one. ( Wich i dont rememeber name on and is un-needed for now )
