Diablo III Warcraft Beta v1.19b



This map has been based on the Diablo III Gameplay Video. You may even recognise a few of the in-game events if you've seen it! Please remember that this is a beta version, and may still contain bugs. Anyone can host this online, just let me know if you find any major flaws in the game :)

1. Make More Map and so on, make GIANT map,
2. Make Revive and A village.

This map only contain content from the two Diablo 3 videos and will not contain a revive system, village or make it bigger then we see more in on diablo3.com. That means that CloudWolf is heading for blance, some praphic stuff like Icons, Making spells to be more like diablo 3, fixing Creature Names.

JASS is overrated. :l

No decent JASS coder would ever say that.

Not only simplifies JASS GUI code by a lot it also provides complete new possibilities.
And go ahead and make a MUI and MPI spell with GUI :eek:, possible but... you learned JASS by the time you finished that one :p

I agree though, that there is no direct need of JASS for good maps, it rather gives a huge advantage.

Lets stop talking about how good JASS is or not, that is not direct related to the map. I mean saying that JASS is better isnt releated but saying that the map could have been better whit JASS and more customise, that is related. So could we stop this conversation as long as its not conected to the map?

The new terrain is really wonderful and it's good that you added more places.
I just discovered the wizards shield spell which is quite nice ^.^

One question, you preselect the monster who drop the items don't you? In case you do I highly recommend to do this via triggers. It's easy and random... is just better :)
On "special" monsters like the fat abonimations at the start for example you can keep the non-random drops though.

BTW: I finished 3 Spells already :grin:, okay... I did not import it to my real map (which is nothing atm:cry:) and haven't done any tooltips yet.

9.5/10 The only reason I deducted .5 is because you need to make it longer, damn fun. So yeah, basically 10/10 on my vote, your Rosaria maps are awesome too, you are...

AWESOME.

No, i check them about 16/7.
I reply to people who needs help or info and stuff for CloudWolf so he can work on the map and such insted of replying here ^^

9.5/10 The only reason I deducted .5 is because you need to make it longer.
We cant make it longer till blizzard release a new gameplay video. :p

To change creep HP/etc based on players playing, you'll want to utilize the Player - Handicap trigger. Just adjust handicap based on how many heroes are controlled by the player alliance.

I'd like to see how you made some of your terrain so that I can try to further improve my own map through your examples. I'll be PMing you for a copy.

Barbarians is imba, you can almost stun all the bosses to the death whit some mana potions, and that is not a good thing, i told Cloudie that the cooldown and how stun time only has like one second delay but i dont know if he readed that.

Im helping him to answear posts on this topic, it would be hard for him to read 15pages and work on the map at the same time. And i mean, everything i say is based on what he say or what i think. Im just trying to help someone out.

Try to make the barbarian stun a little weaker, its only 1sec dellay between the stun time and cooldown. 2 barbarians can complete whole the map. Just a tip ;)

Yea :D Its set to 15 second cooldown now :) And the stun lasts 3 secs top :p So unless you had a team of 6 barbarians, you wont be able to perma stun :D
