My third Diablo III map is a fast RPG map with many references
to the Blizzcon 2010 Diablo III Gameplay Trailer and the Demon Hunter Trailer:






The map is the third part of my Diablo III campaign.

Story
After defeating Azmodan the lord of Sin in the Borderlands, our heroic group receives a distress call from the area near Tristram. Once there, they got a nasty surprise. The country is plagued by demons. The mysterious cult has created new demon portals in the King Leorics Halls of Agony. It is time to defeat the cult finally. And the fight against another evil lies before us. On the northern horizon in the direction of the World Stone crater gather dark clouds. A massive demonic invasion is announced...

What particular warcraft version do i use to play this map.. When i try it on 1.24e there is no Diablo 3 Halls of agony available on my warcraft then when i used 1.20e it shows the map but can't play. Plz help c0z just wanna try this map.tnx

and as always, A DH with alabaster and crimson + maxed out molten and spike trap is OWNAGE... ^_^

quality of map is as good as your other D3 maps...

Just some notes: there are some problems with the storytelling (the construction of the sentences), especially with the last part where ur talking with Tyrael... and this item's name: Scale Male (shouldn't it be Scale Mail?)

A new announcement:

The new versions of all my maps will come soon. I think this weekend I can release the final versions and the great Diablo III Project is completly finished (after the last test).

The great Diablo III Campaign Project includes the following maps:

Act I: Diablo III New Tristram v.1.04
Act II: Diablo III Borderlands v.1.07
Act III: Diablo III Halls of Agony v.1.01
Act IV: Diablo III Bastion's Keep v.1.01

The Diablo III PvP map will become new updates too in next time.

The Maps looks rly nice and well made.
Saw only one bug that the Spell (don't remember the name) where you move quikly from one position to another as demon hunter stop suddenly working. (I think it was cause i died while using it in a boss fight)
But even without that spell that map made fun and was possible^^

What version of WC3 TFT do I need to have to run the map? I'm currently running 1.21b, which I downloaded from the Blizz website (nice feature to be able to DL the game client once you registered the game years ago lol), and for whatever reason, I can't get either this map or Bastion to work. Both of them show up in the menu (I saved them to WC3\Maps\Frozen Throne\Scenario), but when I select them and try to start the game, the game behaves as if it is going to start, and then comes right back to the menu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Always update to the latest versions which are all available at the Blizz site... I think its currently 1.26a

I'll check that out. I guess I foolishly presumed that I would be downloading the latest client version since WC3 hasn't been patched in forever. Joke was on me.

So I've updated to the latest version of WC3 TFT (1.26a), and now the game doesn't see the maps at all. I confirmed that I am looking in the right place for them, but they don't even show up as options in the in-game interface.

I'm a single player lover so I played alone up to the 2nd dungeon...
I've noticed some items are a little bit messed up, like

Demon Chaser (any class) - 15 Damage, 8 Agility, 20% attack rate >>> Found it in the halls of agony (1st dungeon)

VS

Mighty Crossbow (demon hunter) - 15 Damage, 8 Agility >>> in Leoric's Torture (2nd dungeon)

Now, don't you find it weird that I found a more powerful item in Halls of Agony (level 1) than Leoric's Torture(level 2)???...

EDIT:
- can you add a arrow key rotating camera?
- the grenade wont explode on Leoric's Torture, or when it reached level 4...

hmm i wonder why you made all those maps ? i don't know about diablo so i wonder why u made 5 maps with the same gameplay (it looks like this)
and i wonder why you put diablo 3 trailer in each description ? in each naruto maps we could link the whole anime serie too omg it's stupid
 
Review:

Gameplay:

You've recreated the diablo level really well, the sequences, the quests, the events, ...
There's also a lot of movement, creatures jumping at you, with their own specialties.
All of the diablo 3 characters are also available, with their most fun spells and with really neat looking and fitting spell icons.
Also a custom UI texture!
The map lasts really long, there's a lot of content and a lot of different creatures, so it doesn't get boring too soon.
Combat is also very satisfying, with all the blood effect.
There are also a lot of cool item drops along with spell changing runes!

Terrain:

Really beautiful environment, especially the dungeon, it's really atmospheric with its red fog and the fire traps and the pillars.
Detail-wise there's been a lot of work put into it and it's executed well.

Other:

Nice description on the hive and an informative loading screen and also neat looking preview image.

Overall:

Another amazing Diablo 3 map, with a really atmospheric dungeon area and bloody combat!

Yay! I was hoping you would replace Belial with Azmodan now when found out he's the main antagonist of D3, and I'm glad you did:) I really love these D3 maps of yours, you've executed them very well. Btw why are the other D3 maps of yours open source but this isn't?:p
