Destructor´s terrain

Hey everyone

I´ve downloaded a lot from hive and now i want to give something back by making some terrains.

Terrain 10 : I really love the style of this type of terrain

I like the first one the most. It's sexy. Keep it up. +rep

 

[Revolve]

1st: Awesome. Love the sky.

2nd: Great aswell, though the sky could be a bit darker.

3rd: Nice construction, but I don't like the hill with the stone doodad on, and the fact that you can see the air box. I suggest taking another angle, or move everything and add a better background.

4th: Nice ^^

1st one is great love the sky
2nd is really good i dont know how you people sit here and take the time to put all those doodads in
3rd besides the fact that the wall in the back is so tall and unrealistic and the fact that it has ugly arches coming off of it, it isn't horrible
4th i like it its nice simple and cool

I like em but in the 3rd it looks like the world ends behind the wall.

Damn, the sixth one scares the shit out of me. Looks like a big fucking meteorite is about to crash into the castle D: But it's pretty cool anyway, nice "light-in-windows" effect.

Sixth I also like very much All I can think of is to add some stars in the background aswell.

Much better. Though, this makes me realise, that you did the same on this one as the wall one. Don't build the -whatever- on the edge, the sky and background look ugly. ^^

Damn, that silhouette one is really really nice. Maybe it would look better with a tinted fog, though, like maybe an orange-brown color since it's underground?

If you have read my post you know that I have deleted my Terrain folder -_- so no new terrains for the nex time. But im working on some other "terrain" and im looking forward to finish it today.

I don´t know if this even count as an terrain but I wanted to try something new^^ Hope you enjoy it.

Um, that's definitely cool, but how did you make it? Is it just one model, or did you build it?

It´s a white box model in a very small size^^ (4159 doodas)

in the one with the tinted fog, what did you use to create the rocks on the side?

The Cliff dooda from the High-Res Doodad Pack (Felswand1.mdl) the rest is made of normal rocks.

Mhh my thread is getting old^^ But no new terrains , tzzz.

When im done with my icons I will try this one. I don´t know how to make the "smoke" snake but I will find a way.

Here´s a first preview of the map. The Cloud "monser" needs a lot of work and the background ;/

Tile variation and height variation are needed. I like the cloud though. :S

When the clouds are done im making the ground with tiles/cliffs and then the background.
