[General] Decreasing imported material size

Hello, is there any sort of program which compresses the size of .mdx, .mdl files making their size smaller?
Because I'm running out of space in a map and really need few more models in it.

This tool should make your models smaller in the map. Note that outside of the map, the file size isn't different.
You can also try reducing the quality of textures to gain a bit more space.

Try with optimizers, too. I get my average knockout of map size about 15-20%.

Using a non default compression algorthim on the MPQ can yield some saving but it has to be a format WC3 can understand.

Other than that you will have to resort to lossy compression on the models to reduce complexity at the cost of quality.
