MDX Squisher

Hey,

I am running out of space in my map so I downloaded MDX squisher. It says the mdx files need to be in the mpq. Is there a way to send custom models to the mpq? When I try to run the program on files saved in my mod folder, the "squished" file is not any smaller. Any help would be great.

The files do not become smaller by themselves but a map is a packed mpq. It uses compression methods and the mdx squisher maximizes the compressibility.

So if I import squished files vs standard files the map will be smaller? Is it advisible to squish every file, or just the largest ones? (is there any loss in quality?) thanks
