MDX Squisher

I'm using a program called MDX Squisher to reduce the size of custom models I have in my game. When I do squish down the models with the program, the file size is exactly same.. does anyone know what's wrong?

it's exactly the same, however, when you import it into a mpq it compresses a lot more.

For instance, take a model and squish it, take both the model and the squished version and insert them into a rar. The squished model will have a bigger compression ratio.
