hello hivers,

I have a very interesting question for you. if you died toady, what could a stranger say about your personality and who you were by looking in your room?

would they see trophies and prized ribbons of all your achievements. will they see piles of homework and scattered notes. will they see Justin bever plastered ironically or affectionately on your best post. will there be something strange or private.

what good or bad things could they say about you without knowing you? only knowing your room. your empty forgotten and unloved room, desolate and afraid. barren with your existence lost.

Questions:
What could a stranger tell about you from looking at your room?

Well, I don't want anyone to trespass into my Mancave heaven. I'd murder them brutally if they enter.

Top shelf full of beer and whiskey, middle shelf full of CS (Computer Science, not Counter Strike) books and binders with old exams and lecture notes, bottom shelf full of various records and one talking Beavis & Butthead toy activated by remote control.

An unmade bed with no bedspread, a semi-dying fat plant, an old CD switch and stereo setup, a well (ab)used coffee plunger, a water boiler, a faint smell of cigarette smoke, some scattered coins and empty cans, a nice pair of slippers, a cheap housecoat, and a pretty empty fridge with various boxed lunches and beer cans.

Doesn't take a genius to tell that it's a pretty typical student cave.

I see fladdermasken has got the right, and maybe ash...

for me they will see I did a lot of experiments as is evident by the half finished tesla coil, my attempt at alchemy and my electrolysis sets plus several other attempts at junk. I also have a cupboard filled with past papers for exams I did 8 years ago. I'm not sure why I'm keeping them but I don't know maybe I'll use them.

a shelve of banking and business books. uhm... religious stuff and my laptop.

'who am I' I wonder I guess judging from my room I'm a kid avoiding growing up.

interesting

do none of you guys have weapons in your bed rooms?

I have 3 swords, I took up historical medieval sword fighting recently, a shot gun and a hand gun.

I've also been been in the herbalist game for a Long time so I have a few poisons and potions...

if a burglar broke in and killed your pet (assuming you have one) and was after you next. what item do you have near by just in case?

I live In the UK too chaosy(I presume all chaos originates from here) it's the only place where you can be sued by the burglars for Macing them.

which is why if I kill my burglar, I'm feeding Him to my dogs... I've done it before(sort of, I feed one of my dogs to the dogs....it wasn't doing it's job). it's not difficult. all you do is bury the body in a salt water tank deep in the ground, then after a week dig it up and pull and arm out and processes it. bone and flesh become spongy in salt water, just think of it as pickling without vinegar...

ok no I'm kidding.^^-

where is here?

you can also be sued if the burglar gets stuck in your home while you were on holiday. that's how crazy the scale tips In their favour. there are even some people who stock up their homes with food in case a burglar gets stuck and has nothing to eat but dog food

Lol, they should just eat like a dog then for breaking in somebody's house

that's the thing, you get sued extra for that for the trauma you put the perp through. Even if you didn't particularly plan on being burglarized that day.

Denmark sounds pretty bad if they are prohibiting mace... how are girls supposed to defend themselves without killing the assailant. still how's this for corrupt.

here your burglar can accuse you of luring them in so that you could trap him in your basement while you weren't there. it's a claim that your irresponsibly locked door was inviting and too opportunistic to pass up.

lovely thing is you can legally booby trap your yard but it's restricted to night time periods only. meaning every day you would have to pack away your traps, meaning home security while your not home isn't to practical.

but how's this. you can also be sued if someone enters your yard (with or without your knowledge) and your pet bites them. the only prevention measure to not being sued is to post a sign,'beware of dogs...etc'. thing is you can still be sued if the victim (cough cough criminal) claims they didn't see the sign or couldn't read or understand it...

still I like the sign law. you can legally kill someone as long as you have a Sign warning them that you might kill them... accidentally of causes.

that brings me back to bedrooms. what if any signs do you have on your door?

Here is the thing, getting attacked or robbed in Denmark is very rare. And when it happen, even the criminals are unarmed (Rarely they do have knives however). We haven't needed weapons in the past because even the idea of something happening where one was needed was preposterous. We were one of the countries in the world where people who lived felt the safest. It is very rare that even the police get to use weapons.

I do however fear that will change, the prime motivator for crime is poverty, and poverty is rising fast.

The sad truth...

It is surprising that there are still countries that peaceful. I may just be so negative because every news here in my place is all about crime. Not a single day will there be less than 3 cases of rape, murder and theft.

These kind of things annoys me really much, its injustice, though there is nothing much to do since its already in the law of your country (whoever made that law must have been a burglar that got his ass kicked or something)

If I were in a bulgarized situation, meh, the dogs are always waiting to be unleashed. Oh, getting offtopic, so whatever.

there are some good laws passed. like for example fighting with your spouse(legally or otherwise) is illegal (which sounds wrong). it's a good hibg because before people were afraid to report in their neighbours abusing each other, where as Now it's more of, 'listen to how much noise they are making! if they carry on like this I'm calling the cops. annoying'

back again to the stupid laws. previously if a squatter found a vacant building with the door open, they could more in and you as the owner couldn't kick them out. this has only recently been changed.

but imagine. a shopping mall could be basically stolen if the owners didn't hire someone to guard it 24/7.

back on topic. what would a stranger smell in your room? I'm told right Now my room smells of blood(because of my week long nose periodic bleeds)

what does your room smell of, and, does It remind you of home or just plain stink
