Hey everyone,

I am about to spend some money in a new laptop.
But since I want to be unique, I want to build my own laptop from scratch inside a suitcase.
Can anyone give any suggestions on which brand I should pick in order to put in a good high-end setup?
I'm talking ofcourse about a quad core cpu, a ssd, nice RAM memory, a good graphics card etc.
Personally I was thinking about getting a alienware setup.

And also, I would like to know if the brand that you might mention will need to have a customized bios in order to accomplish this.
If it does then how would I go about creating it? Should a bios be created in assembly or am I swinging the bat in a different direction?

Suggestions on how to do this will be greatly appreciated!

Also: wouldn't it then be better to build a computer instead of a laptop inside a suitcase?
Something like this perhaps?:

I could swear that Bios software takes man years to make...

The problem is the power consumption. If you put any serious components such as those from desktops in it you will literally run out of power in minutes if not seconds (if you can even draw that much power in the first place).

Then the most simplified way of doing this is de-attaching the screen of a laptop and mount the keyboard and screen into the suitcase right?
I think I'll just go for a standard laptop and do something like that... I already have the suitcase.
Would be kind of a waste though :S I didn't really need to buy the case then xD
