Changing terrain type at point

Hey guys !

I have searched for a while now at the Hive and I can't seem to find a thread that shares my problem.

So a hero begins casting an ability (flame strike) at a chosen point and I would like the point to change the terrain to dark ice, temporarily (for around 5-6 secs.). And I am aware of the Environment - Change Terrain Type trigger, but I have no clue where the terrain change should take place , if you get what I mean.

Is there any way to do this?

You can for example create a dummy unit at the target point of ability being cast and apply timed life for it. Loop through the surrounding tiles and save their tile type and variation and change them. When the unit dies, revert back to original tiles.

It's pretty simple in the end.
