@DarkAngel: English only... send him a PM/VM if you wish to speak German (yes, I understand German, I know you're trying to help, but it's still against the rules).
Ehh... again?
This question has been asked so many times on the hive that I really don't feel like explaining it again (I've seen this thread about a million times, really).
How about using the "search"-button for once?
However: I will create a list for this one more time...
- Download the model you want to import.
- Import all included files in the world editor.
- Open the readme file (if there is no readme, go to "No Readme")
- In the readme file, there should be a list of blp-files and the path to use. (if the paths aren't given, go to "No Readme")
- Go to the import manager, click on the blp-files and change the name of the path to the path shown in the readme.
- Reload your map by opening/closing the map or the world editor (this is necessary!).
No Readme:
The general path of blp-files is this:
Textures\BLPFILE.blp
Sometimes the blp-files are inside additional maps (such as
"Documents\CoolModel\Additional\HeroGlow\Glow.blp").
When there is a blp-file inside more folders, set the path name to all folders (starting from the model folder), in my example it would be:
"Additional\HeroGlow\Glow.blp
There are some cases in which the texture doesn't require a prefix, so you just need to remove the "War3imported" and it should work (this isn't very common).
Notes:
- The path of .mdx-files don't matter, only the textures' path (.blp-files) are important.
- These are just examples, do NOT copy them literally, use the same name as the file and only change what comes in front of that.
- Restart the world editor after importing the model (I've said it before and I'll say it again).
If this didn't work, be more specific.
