Magos' Model Editor
If a.) the model/s present an error regarding a ribbon emitter upon opening, or b.) the models go blank after editing them in Magos', use MdlxConv to convert the uncorrupted file to mdl, and then convert back to mdx before importing.

In-Game
If models with omnilights light up the whole map after conversion, make sure you're using version 1.04 of MdlxConv.

Works in-game, performs appropriately and is a good addition to the model section.
if only you made an infinite loop variant of this effect so it could be used as a power up kind of thing:)
I agree, just like i truly recommend his Stormfall effect model looping other day too as the best idea to be the combo for call of dread to be looping. :)

@hemmedo Whatever it is, to be honest, it's best to potentially use them (along the ones i want to use for energy weapons fire) in fantasy along sci-fi WC3 maps and mods too you know. :thumbs_up:

e.g: Alien Craft glassing a planet via using the Stormfall SFX by Mythic for the beam. :peasant-thumbs-up:
 
I was just looking up for something like red version of this effect. Simply amazing.
 
Made good use of the purple one, made me want to re-create an item effect from the ps2 game Pirates: The Legend of Black Kat, the item is called Vampire Skull:
A skull containing the undead spirit of a vampire.
Upon impact, It drains the life from your enemies
and offers it to you. Light damage, Short range

Since there's no damage values I just split (250/400/550) [oops, actual values are supposed to be 200/320/440!] amongst the targets hit effectively making a aoe instant life drain!

I love they way you used that effect on your spell! can you make a map on that spell i want to configure it myself? (is it vJass or not? cuz i'm really bad at vJass xd)
 
Do you do requests?
I was wondering if you could do a reversed red version with bats flying out and model scaled down 20% (model seems to be a little big compared to Roar and similar SFX)
In my map there is a spell called Scream of Terror which is like a reverse taunt, causing enemies to run away.
It's for a flying bat-like hero, so it's very thematically appropriate.
I'm asking because i already tried changing it with animation functions, but it didn't work so.
Or if you're okay with it, letting me put up a request in request section for this change?

Fact is you are completely unable to create average models, there always has to be something special with them...
