I hardly see the meteor cause its color is blended with the bg.
Maybe more highlight and stronger explosion?

The flames behind the meteor don't look good but thats just my opinion,its a good icon ^^

The flames behind the meteor make the whole thing look like a drop of ketchup falling on some fire. Try to make the flames around the Meteor more realistic.

Yeah, true, the red looks quite weird, as you say. Were experimenting a bit with this icon on effects/glows. I'll fix the red.

The execution is right, but im not really seeing the overall meteor, add some more texture towards the circle (meteor) too give it maybe a more rocky look.

Bleh do you want some ketchup with that meteor? Just kidding,the meteor needs moar shading :>,its like the light from the fire is not even affecting the meteor

It's a pretty good icon to go with this model.

It looks like one of those rolling, flaming, boulders that the trojans used in the greek camps in Troy. The flames on the bottom look alot different than the ones on the top, and it gives the feeling that its on the ground, rolling. Its still an exellent icon though.
