I really hate the Dark Iron.
It's kinda like the evil Grimtotem and luckily there are Darkhorn, and Shadowmane other Grimtotem tribes they could have like the Dark Iron.
Thanks man! The Forsaken is a good choice. Maybe, just maybe
Personally, I don't have any problems with Dark Iron Clan (in fact one of my favorite factions in WoW lore).
The race is definitely unique from abilities to units I have no complaints. There are a few minor grammar issues, though.
Just one question: Did you ever consider making a mod with all of your races?
Good luck on your future races!
Regarding grammar issues:
All your Heroes say Revive "Heroname" instead of Summon "Heroname".
(Pyromagi) Circle of Fire
The Pyromagi sends o flurry of fire...
The Pyromagi sends a flurry of fire...
(Incinerator) Charring Flesh
After researching the upgrade, ability tooltip says nothing or #0.
Not a lot of them, just a few
Not if you use a custom MPQ, perhaps even a SEMPQ so it all loads up automatically. Look into it; it's what me and several other (race) modders do to beat that exact issue.I have thought of placing all my races into one map, but then I realized that the file size would end up being far too large for most people. Even with all the file size reduction programs, the map would still be too large; containing hundreds of models and icons.
Very interesting. I really have next-to-no interest in Darkiron (Dark Iron?) Dwarves, so it's cool to see someone's take on them. I'm surprised you don't have more "sentient fire elemental"-type units trainable; core hounds? Might help you with having too many similar units on the battlefield ("dwarf-dwarf-dwarf-dwarf" ). I ran into the same thing with Trolls and have really tried to diversify with a variety of creatures & mounts & such; it helps.
My request, how about the traitors of Alterac? Or just specifically... the Syndicate?
Dark Iron Dwarves are the best dwarves, it is known . I intended to do them myself, but as I see I'm always late. Very good job kind Sir!
"WBC"? And yes, that does sound poorly thought out. I was referring somewhat to the build presented (somewheres) on this topic.Still better than WBC dark dwarves where only dwarf unit was the worker (and a hero if we count them).
Honestly, I have no idea of who those are haha.
Nice race, was fun to play! Really liked the models and icons you used.
Also, not sure if this was intentional or not, but the effect for Pyormagi's ignite was at their origin (rather than their chest/center, I assume). Speaking of casters, really nice concepts you got there, the Shadowmancer guys were my favorite, although the higher-mana-better-efficiency thing for Pyromagi was pretty cool too.
Though, just a note, you might wanna look into these tooltips: Research Poison Bomb, Learn Surprise Strike, Learn Shadowburn and Dominators. You forgot to add a space between words in 3 of them, and Shadowburn looks really weird (doesn't mention anything for Level 3/cuts off after Level 2).
Speaking of tooltips, it'd be nice if you focused most hotkeys to be on the left side of the keyboard (seeing as to most players being right-handed), it's rather inconvenient to have something on B or D and another thing on I or O.
One last thing, why not give Interconnection a cooldown? I think it'd be nice, making the player choose whether to use it at that moment or save it for later. Anyway, an interesting race in overall, hope to see more races from you in the future!

- cool unit ideas with interesting abilities.
- love all the custom icons and models. High quality stuff.
- finally a race that offers offensive defense strategies. The deployable war tanks, upgrades for towers etc.
The only thing that bothered me that the race is a bit too strong when it comes to resource gathering. You definitely should keep the resource carts though cause it is unique (reminds of the Ox Carts in Age of Mythology), but make them more expensive etc.
5/5 from me.
Huh? Its a major update/overhaulReforged port? there's the CSW models
Not enough models for this tech-tree, if you're talking about HD-graphics. Heroes, for example.Reforged port? there's the CSW models
Very cool to see you got to this, man. : )Huh? Its a major update/overhaul

I'm glad you enjoyed em. I read through your info; some nifty ideas.Every map you make is a treat. I've only played Wildhammer Clan so far and I am loving the mechanics , i especially love the hero abilities. Coincidently; i just started a design doc for my wildhammer clan map the day before you updated the map. Wildhammer
