When you kill a boss you are able to loot his corpse by simply clicking on it and selecting items you want to loot.This loot system is similar to loot system in World Of Warcraft™.



This system allows you to ride your own animal.Mounted animal gives you +60 , +80 ,+100 ,+120,+150 speed depending on its rarity.You can buy mounts from animal trainers , earn them in quests , or get them from dungeons if you are lucky enough.This system is totaly NOT like in normal Warcraft III when you use horse to mount and it just puts ur hero in it and wont even look like ur hero is riding a horse.
In BladedLeaf when you mount animal you can see your character riding on it.

Note: These are features that are allready implemented into map and work perfect.We dont want to write what will be in map because we aint sure will i we able to complete what we promiss.

Once in the Forest of Estim'alar came a great evil from the underground cursing the pools of the Ancient Druids.The colour of the water wasnt changing.
The Demon used its own blood to corrupt the Druids of the Estim'alar.
The Druids were evil and learning the demonic rituals.But that didn't last for long.
Tired of the Demons commanding all the time they were no more royal to Evil side.
The litle nature that was in the Demonic Druids spreaded throo theirs bodies attempting to banish the demonic energyes.But nature could'nt cleanse evil for good.Theirs spells have imbued together creating a new order in life.
Today Druids roam the world of BladedLeaf seeking for justice and awaiting the day they will rip the demonic spirit out of them.

[rainbow]*Mage*[/rainbow]
A mage fancies herself as an archdevil incarnate. They command a plethora of magical spells that are only known to them. Reclusive even to their demon kin, some traversed to the mortal world to further improve their already impressive magical capabilities and shake off the usual nosy imp. Their spells can both be offensive (the usual Fireball or the more showy Arcane Storm) or defensive (be it an armor of earth or a shield of pure magical force), likening or, in some instances, almost equaling themselves to their dark master.

[rainbow]*Warlock*[/rainbow]
What began as an obsession with the thought of living forever, turned into what most considered an abomination of life. Using ancient magics to bring demons and spirits through rifts into our world they learned to reanimate corpses with unholy life. They also soon realized that the same magics that could revive or prolong lives could be reversed to weaken and sometimes kill others. As their powers grew some say they could steal the life force itself from their foes and swallow it imbuing them with renewed strength. Who knows if their wishes for immortality shall someday be granted?

[rainbow]*The Oggep*[/rainbow]
Oggeps are demon outcasts. Instead of the usual infernal power their kin have, they received the ability to heal and protect. This led to a mass racial discrimination against them. Fearing the eradication of their kind, the Oggeps fled to the mortal world and lived with the beings within it. The world's inhabitants, surprisingly, got along with them despite their still demonic appearance. Their magic capabilities evolved too, allowing them to massively heal a group back to peak performace, granting their allies with godlike strength, and eventually, bringing the dead back to life. Eventually, they developed features of the mortal races. Their scale-like skin faded, their horns became less apparent, their tails shorten to near unnotice. Sadly, that didn't happen to you.

[rainbow]Praerie Hunter[/rainbow]
Once a great tribe from Dakhar Desert the Praerie Hunters were forced to move their settlement from wrath of a great demon Then'duss...They had to survive somehow so they hunted beasts...Praerie Hunters mastered poison and taught how to use it in hunting....The Legend say that when Praerie Hunters reach enough powerfull mind are able to tame beasts...The Great Hunter Akan'rell went into depthness of hell to find and tame Mephisto , The Great Devil.......but the devil enslaved him...

[rainbow]*Phantom Striker*[/rainbow]
Phantom Strikers, haakai in their native tongues, are once great demon lords in Hell banished by the archdevil himself, Mephisto. As they were banished, Mephisto drained all their powers, leaving themselves like their lesser kin. Although they were weakened, they were not dispirited. They found out that Mephisto only drained their energy level, not the power itself. They only need for it regenerate and evolve once again. They now live with the mortal beings in the world, trying to get along (or use them for their own gain), until the time has come for their revenge on the archdevil.

How lycans came to existence were because of the humans, base of all were-creatures. A group of them ventured into the dense forest of Kentho and returned infected by the corrupted dark wolves that abide there. The infected humans saw the bites as if it were mere scratches and returned back to their village. Time passed and the humans slowly developed wolf-like features until one night, when the moon was pure white, the infected humans, in an instant, grew into what we now called lycans, humans with wolf-like features, external and internal. Assumed to be vicious, the humans never bothered to commnicated with the lycans and drove them away to the forest of Kentho. Centuries passed and the lycans grew more intelligent to try and communicate with the humans and befriended each other. They now live in peace and share BladedLeaf, the home of all creatures good.

Cool rpg, hope it becomes complete!Show us more information about the attachments and the heros!
Now some critiscism:
1st Screen : No tile variation, spider looks realistic, but kinda ugly...
2nd Screen : Foutain seems too big, no enviroment, the house is too little scaled(is it ment to be habitated by dwarves?)
3rd Screen : Edges of the fountain look ugly, no fog, little enviroment
4th Screen : A bit too plain
5th Screen : Terribly oversized "hole-mountain-thingy", ABSOLUTELY no tile variation, poor enviroment, ugly oversized cristals...
6th Screen : Oversized cactus with sharp grass edges
7th Screen : Plain, no tile variation, ugly trees
8th Screen : Nice colored messages, but add more enviroment on the leaves tile!
9th Screen : Nice chat system! But the terrain need some work
10th Screen : No enviroment, no tile, ugly tree on the screenshot...
11th Screen : remove the 'Q' from the spell tooltip, no tile variation
12th Screen : why 2 windmills?And they are too small!

Sorry if I seemed rude, but hope this helped, the main points you need to improve are:
-More enviroment on the terrain
-More tile variation
-Fix some odds

lets start with the bad comments :p terrain isnt that great i see som nice idea in it but dind worked out well the ideai s nice and the systems like looting and arrow movement without lagg sounds like inpossible if that realy works than it would be asome about the idea it self its good and plz never use imegaehack it gives me spam :p o btw ty that you let me make som terrain for ya shall try my best cant promise enything because we kinda archenemys lol :p nah i shall try my best

Yesterday i worked on BladedLeaf OpenRPG till 4 a.m.
I imported mounts , chatbox is now transparent , COMPLETELY reterrained spider forest , fixed some glitches , and added a new interface ! I will post screenshots later....
*Edit: It wouldnt be bad if you actually post here...We really need your support....8)

The RPG looks okay so far, theres just not much for it too stand out from all the others besides the movement system and the loot point system. BTW, why would you name a class after someones account name?

He means that the icon will show above your head when u get a recipe.

you can create a special effect and change its texture path to an icon and attach the effect to your head , just n idea.

He showed me his system today.....I like it ...but its used in Zelda maps.....and I dont really think we can use that system....

I can do quite a lot fairly well, from 2D art, web design, terrain, avg.triggering, story and quest design, (got a HS degree of design finished 2 months ago, gameplay design and such...

Let me know if there is still a need.

And guys, seriously, don't flame or spam in Project Threads. It's really not polite and again, you won't get anywhere with it.

Breaking News!
I just found out from very reliable sources that i_brg_doom a.k.a i_bring_doom asked a person to hack BladedLeaf ORPG website. Luckily hacker refused to do that since he saw no reasons to hack our site.We wont mention his name because he was polite and told me of this atempt . . . BladedLeaf OpenRPG | remains untouched . . .
Reason why i_brg_doom did this is unknown , but he just got the rage of BladedLeaf Crew on him....!

Why did you remove the chatbox? It looked cool and original, even though i think it would be quite annoying to have all the text in the middle of the screen instead of on the sides.

Well.....That chatbox was a "multiboard"....So....You cant click on multiboard even if its transparent......It really annoys.....But if we get enough requests to put the ChatBox in again we will do it.... :spell_breaker:

and yeah you need a better terrainer =) some terrain parts looks cheap. it does require more terramorph work and tileing ("texturing")... the doodads are on the last place. (must be)

I suppose its cuz i_bring_doom did nothing to hiveworkshop.com so they havent got reason to bann him....Hacker guy is not guilty ...he clearly said no to hacking our site........

Sounds cool, though there are quite a few flaws:
  • The terrain in almost all your terrains are hardly decent. Not to mention, they're very flat too.
  • The arrow key movement system will always cause a delay as long as it is played on Battle.Net. However, the delay does not occur in singleplayer and LAN games.
  • You should go more in-depth with detail about each class. List and describe their abilities, their traits, etc.
Again, this sounds like a pretty good ORPG, but you must fix a few flaws and plan carefully ahead. Never rush your work either. Good luck with your map!

I agree with Craka_J some parts of the terrain are flat but let's not talk about that shall we?U have TripX doing the terrain.Me and Skore_sM were playing the orpg together for now the triggers are interesting some of them are not seen in warcraft III like loot system u have to click on the creep and take the items from it.I like the Season system! The dungeons are not balanced very well.U have a interesting pet system.

Like Craka_J says :Never rush your work it will only make it worse!

Description: This particular weapon was forged by unearthly metal found in a crater by a passing blacksmith. The blacksmith found the metal to be unbelievably strong and decided to make a weapon out of it. Because of its unearthly properties, it was stronger to craft than titanuim and it never dulled so, it took him years to craft until he finished his promising creation. When he left it to cool in the river, the knight that ruled that land passed by on his horse and took an interest to it and took it. When the blacksmith returned to retrieved it, it was gone, but in a nearby tree, the blacksmith saw a dead horse and next to it, the knight who took the sword. A few minutes later, both the knight and the blacksmith lay dead. The weapon was later found by a necromancer and ironically enough, he knew the deceased blacksmith and named the rapier after his name and after the curse it instills to whoever wields it.

Stats
+(Your stats to whatever fits the name, one recommended is a beserk ability)

The Knights of the Thorn long fought for freedom against the demons, but they realised that they had no chance of winning since the demons were not only greater in numbers but their demonic powers could corrupt even the purest of hearts. One day the demons launched an attack against the Knights stronghold. The demons had victory in reach but the knights managed to hold their final stand. But they knew even then that it was only a matter of time before they would be ultimately defeated. Suddenly something resembling a hawk appeared. But it was glowing with a light they had never seen before. It filled the remaining knights with strenght and courage, and they managed to fight back the demons. They abandoned the ruins of their old stronghold and created a new order: the Order of the Golden Hawk. Now they practice the magics of Heaven itself to fight the demons of Hell.

Maybe a little TOO MUCH but anyway. I just wanted to make something that wasn't a demon. And i know it wasnt the best description. And that hawk could be the symbol of some random god or something.
