I love the spikey edges, but it could be a little more detailed imo.
Maybe it is just me but it feels more blurry than other wc3 resources... especially models by you two.

b) it doesn't look barbaric, instead looks like a legendary runeblade...

Yeah, kinda, the reference more resembles barbarism.
