It's just one of those days//

I look up to the sky - what has happened to me//
Is this really the way what they call 'being free'//
Every day I see kids taking drugs//
Just turned 13 they got totally fucked up//
Suffering from shit like racism, facism//
They don't realize that every day they're missing//

they just gave up hope, for heaven's sake//

Maybe there are like 1000k typs in those lines but I hope the message doesn't get lost.
Well, I think instead of 'Yo homie whaddup ni*** - I'mma firin ma lazar - I'mma f*** the **** in her ***** while she ******************', people shall do more things like the above..

they control the music industry now and even dwell on every type of music ranging from "pop"punk to the hiphop infused nu metal/rapcore

Actually, just as an artist in general, and not this guy, you have a better chance with rap then you do with metal, by far.

And to the twats that keep saying that rap isn't music. That really depends on who the rapper is. Sure, you've got some of the bullshit like 50 Cent, who just repeats himself over and over again to a really stupid backbeat.

And then you have artists like Dr. Dre who spend 8 years making ONE album, and it turns out to be perfect.

Basically, not all rap sucks ass.

I'm not a musical cripple. I enjoy the sounds of everything from metal to rap to reggae to electronica to classical music.

...I just like metal a tad more. But that's my teenage self whispering in my brain.

As for nu-metal... it's severely meh.
Pure metal/pure rappin' is MUCH better.
 
If you're serious about rapping, you should look up Devil's Urethra on YouTube. He did the "DotA Rap Songs" and although you don't like DotA, they show a lot of good amatuer rapping skills. I think he also wrote and composed some of the music even though a couple are just abridges.

emocore is like fugazi and rites of spring back in the days when emo was just a pop-infused hardcore punk genre and not the suicidal bullshit that they call (thirdwave) emo now

Aren't that good? Alexei Laiho is only the greatest metal guitarist in the world, and young at that. They make excellent music.

Don't even TRY to compare that shitty emo band Bullet For My Valentine to Children of Bodom. Not even close.

And you know what? Megadeth was headlining that show. And to all you Megadeth fans: They blew ass. I left before they came out. Already saw Children of Bodom and In Flames, needn't see anything else.

Old In Flames is the shit,so poetic,my fave has to be Reroute to Remain>Cloud Connected!

Also,recently the music that attracts me is Grunge and Trash Metal!
