a good singing voice isn't required for rapping
rap songs aren't really melodic and most (white) rappers have this weird nasally sort of geeky voice as shown by eminem and kevin federline(hes a fucking pos)
and the most important thought of all.. you should NOT imitate souljaboy
soulja is hated by a lot of the big name rappers

oh and word of advice if you write up a rap song
write one that makes sense and is not about materialism or "bling-bling" or telling some chic to shake her ass or simply don't make a song that is very egotistic and self-centered("this is why I'm hot")

basically those are the reasons why I don't listen to hiphop/rap songs anymore
its all about punk rock/metal for me now
