Autocast Event Problem

Greetings Hive,

A problem, I have.
I'm trying to detect when does a unit begin the effect of a Poison Arrows ability, but it doesn't work. I tried the events "Begins casting an ability" and "Starts the effect of an ability" and they both don't work, only thing that works is "Finishes casting an ability", and that's too late.

I know it's possible to trigger autocasts, so how is it done and how can I solve this problem?

Poison Strike is an autocast ability, I don't understand what do you mean.

Try Damage detection & buff check? Kinda hard, will have to dummy-cast the whole effect, but can work.

I dont think you can detect autocast abilities that go off when you attack because i think they are registered as "attack" not casting an ability, but im not too sure about that.

these abilities dont register as casted because basically your unit attacks when you use these spells and they just work as something like an orb ability...

Okay, is there a way to detect or make a new ability? What do you suggest I do?
