upgrade animations confuse me, sorryI think you're reading the animations wrong
The calliope variant /does/ have both attack animations (Machine-Gun and Main-Gun)- it's spell animation is specifically for a rocket barrage ability
"Spell Upgrade First"
Thanks! that will help me when i start modelling from scratch : )To use upgrade animations, edit the following line
[Art - Required Animation Names] and add [Upgrade, First] without brackets
Then, both in-game and in the editor, the model will use the upgrade-first animation set, much like the Human Guard Tower
-well then, ill try again with a different unitThat's odd, on my side it works perfectly fine O-o
The only issue with attack sounds I've had are when there are too many attacks using the same sounds (Example, a battlefield with nothing but riflemen)
I'll double-check the attack sound, but I have no explanation for the randomized attack animations, that sounds like a problem on the editor side, SonsOfSami
still no sound and calliope twitches : (Pack updated - try it now
well, i dont think splitting the models for just the calliope is a good idea - what about using alternate animations? it always works and you can do it in the troll headhunter -> berserker way ; )I'm mystified, this is happening to me now D:
The only hard-fix I can think of is splitting the model into entirely seperate models, but WTF it should be perfectly functional - the same method Blizzard used was-- >:C
i think the guard tower upgrade anims because it has multiple variations in one model, but sherman has just 2 variations: non calliope and calliope, so no need for upgrade anims, just use alternateThe idea for Upgrade animations came from the Human Guardtower, which has three variants (Scout, Guard, Cannon) so I figured I'd use the same method and make a "Early, Mid, Late"-war tank
But it seems to have backfired quite profoundly :[
