- What do you do when bored?
- What's your favorite point in history?
- Do you have a favorite type of video game?
That's cool
What is the meaning of life?
Huge answer for that :p
i think you should make the system like:
user can teach the ai to respond them, what about that?
The system can learn, actually it learns your name, where you live, and within the further version, your age and gender
So it will be totaly cool if it also learns qu/ans so best idea so far
Ok heres mine..

User: Damn you idiot AI
AI: F*CK you! bitch!

User: Go top/mid/bottom
AI: Go by yourself!

what about this?

User: Let's play
AI: I can't, busy

User: Busy why?
AI: busy playing with you

User: Slay them all
AI: you're so cruel

User: You're just an AI
AI: i forgot about that

User: Kill him!
AI: i won't become a sinner

User: you're just a bot
AI: well thank you

Make an AI that learns this stuff dude. You would train it until it is sufficient. When you're done training it, dump the state of the AI to some file and hardcode the state data in some hashtable.

You can use Nes' Codeless Save/Load to make an AI that learns from you from game to game. Maps can even share the same AI data, so effectively, your computer becomes a player.

Look into markov chains, neural networks, behavior trees (maybe), anything really.
