Hello,

Half an year ago I bought a wireless mouse + keyboard complect. Yesterday my mouse suddenly stopped working. The light is still on, the keyboard is still working, I tried reinstalling the drivers, changing the USB socket, changing the battery, and restarting the computer - the problem persists.

I don't believe the mouse is damaged - it was working the night before, I left it on my desk, and when I returned in the morning, it wasn't working anymore. Nobody has touched the device in that period.

Help would be appreciated.

You mean to tell me that your wireless mouse can die without any apparent reason?

Yes and it does tend to happen more often with less reliable brands. I used to use some ednet wireless mouse that simply stopped working after a month. On the other hand logitech's M175 works fine and MX Revolution still works to this day (bought it around 2009).

My suggestion, get a logitech mouse.

I didn't say "buy a new one!" I just told you to consider getting a new one. You could take it to an electronics repair shop or something if you really don't want to part with that mouse dude. And please try to calm down a little.

I guess I sounded a little nervous - sorry, I didn't meant to. But honestly, I opened this thread to see what else can be done before considering getting a new one. Turns out there's a resync software available - sadly, it didn't work.
