The door to the little building opens and light floods out, the silhouette of a man standing in the doorway stetching before he stepped out into the darkness of the night. He had left his coat in the shop along with some of his other tools while he walked outside to take his little break. "I wonder what I should do first..." He pondered quietly to himself, his thoughts drifting to possibly a hundred different ideas that he'd recently thought up. He let the a small draft of wind blow around him before walking back into the little shop and closing the door behind him.

Gabriel felt uneasy, yet he decided against abandoning his and his Knight's mission. Sooner or later they would embark on their crusade, and sooner or later, the Church itself would be able to assert righteous power throughout the lands. This plan seemed rather impossible though. The Church was never strong enough to even challenge any of the kingdoms effectively and take the control by force, even with outstanding soldiers such as the Knights. But Gabriel trusted the zeal of his soldiers and was sure the Church had something rather than nothing, though right now their influence was only through peaceful means. Perhaps the power of Light and the mind was not the most effective way to deal with their enemies. Perhaps, one would need to fight fire with fire, and make use of dangerous magics in order to achieve victory. At any rate, Gabriel quit thinking to himself about these things, and continued on with the daily training of the Knights.

Shadows will be fought with shadows.

*It was a great city, Rhiannon hadn't seen it from an observer's perspective before she invaded the Archon's library and spoke to him. It was almost a shame a city of traders had to fall for her cause. but her goal was absolute, and she would do whatever she could to bring her husband and king back from his imprisonment.

Sneaking in through the city's walls, she emerged from her shadow form and began her job. The closest of people stumbled and fell to the ground. Rhiannon slowly walked through the streets, hugging the shadows as best she could. Her perfect night vision and hightened senses allowed her to track the slightest of movements. People taking a latenight stroll, sleeping in their handmade beds, and all the animals whose bodies slowly lost hold of their souls. Every one of them was becoming a victim of her powers. The souls would come to her soon enough, but one thing was sure, if the souls popped out too soon, it wouldn't take long for the Archon to notice.*

I do agree that I like don't have something like a goal. Its kinda well hard to think of something to do. The reason that for example: (Stopping sacrids charr. is that my charr does not know about her. and she has not done harm to him yet. and even if he knew. he wont stand a chance facing her.) but thats just an example.

(I'll be willing to take you on, Var! Wait, maybe not.)

EDIT:

Gabriel felt a sudden, rather unnerving figure approaching the rebuilt fortress city. The other Knights also felt something rather unnerving and all of them had become uneasy. Someone dangerous was approaching, though it was unclear to even Gabriel if it was human or not, Gabriel believed it was mostly likely human, however, not an ordinary human. The Knights recognized the aura surrounding the human; it was a power opposite to that of theirs. It was not pure and of holy nature. Instead, it was of shadows, darkness and demons, which immediately the Knights assumed to be an enemy of theirs.

But Gabriel, more experienced than any other, vaguely had an idea of who it was and realized that it may not be their enemy... But it would something potentially more dangerous than their enemies and far from their ally as well, if his suspicions were to prove correct. The very thought of them unnerved Gabriel.

"How dare you offer me your help!" *The sky darkened* "Do you think that if I cant solve it you.. ..a human.. can!? No!" *A lightning bolt struck a tree near the lake* "There is no way I need your help! For anything! Be gone!" *Nirthy screamed furious*
"Hard wind began to blow in circles around Sonya. The water around her began to rise as it was flowing around her. Sonya was stuck in a whirlpool sucking her deep down. As Nirthys scream echoed trough the water following her down.*

The figure was close, it was clear to the Knights that the figure had some psychic capabilities alongside some demonic power. Their psychic illusion over the area will not prevent them from being located by the figure. However, the figure was yet to be visually sighted by the Knights and this made them more uneasy, but the Knights remained vigilant, confident that their powerful equipment, capabilities and training would reap them a victory against a treacherous demon worshiper. But Gabriel did not think like the other Knights. As the figure drew closer, Gabriel was increasingly certain of the nature of the figure, but as usual, he was not surprised with the developments. He was never surprised, possessing a form of precognition and thus having predicted this as an outcome that was possible and quite likely. But still, the thought of one of them never ceases to unease Gabriel.

The Church's most unholiest warriors. Fighting fire with fire, shadows against shadows.

The Knights, under strict orders from Gabriel to remain in their positions, held their ground tensely, as the figure grew closer and a faint silhouette appeared in the shadows of the forest. From the Knight's point of view, the silhouette appeared to be of a teenage girl, which confirmed Gabriel's suspicions as to the identity of the mysterious figure. But as the girl drew closer, it was certainly not what the other Knights had expected. She wore light plate armor, with a hooded cloak covering her eyes. She carried two swords and a large arbalest on her back, with the stocks folded in, although she lacked a quiver for any bolts. Upon closer inspection, she appeared to have a small array of knives on the tassets of her armor and her gauntlets appeared to conceal folded wrist claws. With such a large amount of weapons, it was strange to see the girl walking normally, but the Knights knew better; the weapons were obviously imbued with dark and dangerous magics.

(CONTINUED)

The Knights knew the girl was not ordinary as she was the source of the dark aura. Even Gabriel was unsure if she was here to attack them or help them. Either way, she was an agent of the Church. These individuals were human and not human at the same time, they were the Church's 'experiments' for a lack of a better word. Individuals born with powerful minds, such as the Knights, yet they were instructed not to fight with the light, but with dark powers and vengeance. They were imbued with demonic powers and dark magics, to use against their darkest foes. Fighting hellfire with hellfire, shadows with shadows and other demonic abilities. Though their training and the process of empowering them usually killed them, survivors were close to being one man armies, able to fight against overwhelming odds, murdering individuals simply for their own benefit. They hold a belief that if one wants to defeat the darkness, one has to be one with the darkness.

Oh I like this one! I'm not sure which arc I want more! I REALLY want to see this arc of yours play out. The imagery is just awesome! And I almost feel like I'm there, able to sense the danger this newcomer possesses, and I hope to see more as to this Church that was mentioned. Quality stuff! (Write a book! It'd be a hit! :p)

*After a long trip, the coach arrived at nexus and stopped near the citadel.*
"Well we're here." The driver said.*
As the girl and the dog left the cabin. The dog reacted strange. Sniffing in the air. And looking around. That would be normal for a dog. But without al the chills going over his spine. The dog did not feel at ease.*

*Torin slowly opened his eyes. And looked outside. It was still dark.. "Hé.. we are not moving!?" Torin suddenly thought.*
*He looked at the door seeing it was opened. He could see the girl standing outside.*
"Is something wrong? what has happened. Torin thought.*
*Torin turned his head seeing if Sonya was still there..*

The Knights watched carefully. The feeling of dread crept upon them as the girl drew closer. As she moved into clear view of the Knights, she stopped. She looked directly at Gabriel, past the psychic illusion barrier, with a soul piercing gaze. The Knights readied themselves to protect their leader, as well as to vanquish the demonic influence before them, but Gabriel restrained them. He was aware that the girl was either he to dispose of the Knights, or to assist the Knights, both a likely possibility. The Knights were soldiers of the Church, but the Church and the Knights had a strained relationship. Either way, the girl remained enigmatic, neither the Knights or Gabriel could even predict what she was going to do and the dark power emanating from her unnerved them still. Dead silence and a chill went through the air, something even the Knights felt, despite their armor.

*Torin stepped outside and looked around in the dark. "This isn't a nice home.." He thought. As he searched for trees or bushes. But they all looked very weird. "It stinks human here." He thought He looked sad at Sonya.. Torin had expected more..*

"I have no idea.. I think he just doesn't like it here.." The girl said

"I would love to acompany you, but I have other plans.."
"So.. this will be our goodbye then."
"well then, Goodbye and good luck."
*The girl said as she called her dog. And turned around.

*Torin wondered and sniffed the strange tree. He walked three times around it. Torin felt some kind of exhausted.. it was warm..*

The Knights stood their ground as the girl resumed movement and proceeded slowly into the fortress city. The girl walked straight to Gabriel, and paused in front of him and several Knights. The dead silence and terrible aura surrounding the girl caused a chill in the very souls of the Knights, unnerving them and keeping them on the defensive. Time seemed to have stopped, with the silence and lack of movements, before the girl finally spoke in a whisper of a voice, which everyone but Gabriel struggled to make out.

"There are complications to address."

Gabriel nodded slightly. He knew what the girl had meant and decided it was time the Knights began to move out soon - there were ample defenses in the city and they would be needed elsewhere. The taciturn commander of the Knights raised his hand, signalling to get ready to leave.

huh. I would have thought he'd have been referred to as a pet by the others. :/

Kaden descended upon the city, landing upon a large structure, his mouth brimming with fire. "Now you shall see the price for my inprisonement. Behold my power!" He unleashed a torrent of flames, and sent his tail smashing through the roof of the building. Quickly, he began manipulating the flames with his spells, spreading fire across stone courtyards, and upon buildings. He then moved to unleashing arcane projectiles upon the sleeping city as he targeted nothing in particular. The city would be his example to the Archon. An example to never defy the lord Hellion's rule.

The Knights all prepared to move out and started to leave in formation. It all became clear to them that the girl was not their enemy, but far from being an ally due to the animosity between the Knights, who wield holy powers, and the Slayers, who wield demonic powers. This animosity meant they were both weary and unnerved by the girl, but as she was sent by the Church to reinforce the Knights, they would put their prejudice aside and moved out. Gabriel had neither dislike of the girl nor a liking. All he cared about was to prevent something endangering their purpose and continued to run through his mind what they would encounter.

Knocking on Heaven's door.

Sonya: Torin, these are my sisters, and, like me, they're not going to do anything to you *she says as she goes to Torin and picks him up*
Shinjy: ..I sense... that you, in your curiosity, have meddled with things you shouldn't, Sonya.. but perhaps out master can make it right. Follow me all.. *and she slowly floats through the corridors*

In a dark, and forbidding forest, lay an obscure, yet grand mansion. Through the darkness, a small, dark shadow watches from the magnificent second storey porch. It could sense everything going on, and decided to be patient and wait a little longer. For now, it was interested in observing the upcoming events, before revealing itself to anyone or anything.

(And that's all I'll do for the second character right now.)

Misha, I'm in Nexus, Kalek is in another city, nowhere near Nexus. It just happens to be that we're both attacking you at the same time, but in different ways. XD

*Rhiannon had finished this part of the city and had moved on to the next part. As she did so, someone came by and shouted in surprise. Her attention was brought fully on him and she ripped his soul out as quickly as possible to avoid his message getting to other people. It wasn't messy or anything, but it did leave a higher note as he started talking, before he was suddenly cut off. With that, she moved on and continued her plan.*

Nah, I'm not in Nexus. So I don't get to meet Rhiannon this time. Nah, Kaden has plans to escape this time, but leave his mark. He's in one of the cities closer to Nexus, seeing as he was nearby the area of the carriage.

Flames spread across the city, guided by the arcane hand of the dragon. The city was coming alive now, awakening as the flames were spotted and the alarms went off. Yes, now the guards rushed to find a way to stop the fire, and find the source within the middle of the burning buildings. "Awake, mortals! Awake and see the crimson destroyer! Your city shall burn! And soon, you shall be subjects under Hellion."

The Knights rushed through the forest and swiftly moved out towards the direction of where they felt a great disturbance. The lone Slayer (the girl) went along with the Knights to to their next destination, moving quickly, yet with grace and silence. At the rate they were going, they would arrive quickly to their destination. Gabriel could already see in his mind the threats in the Archon's lands and sensed carnage. They would need to arrive ASAP.

tranquility... yeah... XD

Arcane explosions sounded within the city as the dragon unleashed torrents of arcane energy upon the panicking city. The shimmers or red and blue reflected off of his crow-like scales, letting the colors dance upon him as he relished his revenge...

(Like a crow's feather, Kalek's scales shift colors dpending on the angle the light hits them at. It is a result of his arcane usage. A harmless side-effect, but a result none the less.)
