*The bracelet was caught by the telekinesis of the archon, and he drew it quickly to his burning hand. he looked at the bracelet from a few angles, then he pondered a bit, before focusing on the bracelet again. After a minute, he nodded to himself and the hand holding the bracelet burst into even greater flames, cracks and fizzling was heard as he quickly closed the hand, evaporating the bracelet*

*Torin quickly jumped out of Sonyas grip with all his might and ran towards the Archon. but he stopped halfway. His fear popped back in his mind. But he still walked closer slowly. "What did he do!?" Torin thought. Torin did not know how to react. He felt angry and sad at the same time. But was scared of the person he was mad at.*

*Nirthy widely opened her eyes and blinked a few times. she looked at her hands. And moved them around slowly. Before her she saw Torin.*
*Torin looked surprised as he saw Nirthy again. even though she was a bit smaller. It doesn't matter to him.*
*Nirthy flew towards Torin. As she danced around him.*
*Torin couldn't think of a moment happier that this one and neither could Nirthy.*
*Nirthy then flew back to the Archon.* "Oh mighty Archon, I am greatly thank full. I can be with Torin once again thanks to you.. Is there a way I can repay you?"

"I thank you.. I shall watch myself." *She flew to Torin and held his snout.* "And I shall watch over you.. my Torin." *She brought her face closer to Torins and kissed his snout.* "We shall be together.. forever." *Torin began to glow faintly green and it faded away again.*
"And Sonya.. I am really sorry for what I did.. I just felt.. Cold alone.. But even with that you still decided to help me.. I am grateful... We are grateful."

The Knights moved quickly, getting closer and closer to their destination. It would be a little more time before they would reach their destination. The Slayer moved effortlessly, she seemed to move slowly and quickly at the same time.

*Rhiannon sensed the approachers. "So, they've started to notice my actions, have they? Well, the Archon surely will regret sending them! No amount of power will stop me from accomplishing my goal! Not those foolish humans, not the Archon, and certainly not those Void Lords!" She said in disgust. Souls left their hosts, their bindings finally breaking, and dissapeared into the night. Taken away from this world and into the container that held them.*

The Knights headed with inhuman speed to arrive at the besieged city. Gabriel hoped it would be not too late for them to have arrived, and the Slayer calmly went alongside the Knights, spreading an inhuman influence around her as she moved with them. Gabriel sensed that they weren't going fast enough; the souls were already being taken at an alarming rate. He wondered why there wasn't as much action taken against this as he would have hoped.

*In the meanwhile, two men walked in the throne room* Oh great archon, we come to bring you the news. They are good, as well as bad..

Shinjy: Speak, men, which are the bad news?

man from the right: it's a mild-to-strong fright within the capitol of nexus, different military groups are marching to us, and something strange is decimating our townsfolk from within..

..and which are the good news? *says the archon*

man from the left: The metalworks you bestowed upon your blacksmiths and enchanters are nearly complete, milord..

excellent... you two are dismissed. *says the archon* Come, my daughters i must show you something..

The Knights had Nexus in sight, in the distance. The Knights soon realized the grim situation at hand, another city nearby was under siege. However, the priority was the one who was taking souls; as Gabriel believed this plan was far more sinister. In addition, the Knights had little compassion for the people in this land, and thus they decided to ignore the city that was being burned down and instead, continued their rush to Nexus, moving still at high speeds.

In the meanwhile the Archon has teleported himself and those around him into a huge dungeon, which was filled with Blacksmiths and enchanters, and they all worked on some massive parts of dark metal*

One of the blacksmiths stops what he was doing and goes towards the Archon, yelling to be heard more than the hammerworks* Milord! You have come right in time! we have completed the 4 sets of the Mithril dresses for our priestesses and the Main project is nearing completion as well! it shouldn't take more than an hour!

Excellent. bring forth the Dragonskin, as they usually call mithril *says Shinjy* we're anxious to try it

Sonya: ..wow

true. Mithril is a strong, lightweight metal. It is the ideal armor. But it might upset dragons if you call it Dragonskin. :/

"What? No resistance? No fight from your pathetic city? It is a wonder you have survived so long. But your end is at hand, and Hellion's domain will be restored, and dragons will be freed from your ignorance!" Kalek boomed as he bombarded the city, the ruby flames reflecting in his eyes as he watched the city burn.

(No comment on that armor business. Well, just one. I don't think mithril and dragonskin are the same thing.)

The Knights pitied the citizens of the burning city, but besides that they really did not care about protecting them when there was an even more sinister threat. They continued onwards to Nexus, and they neared the outskirts of the city. The Knights however, began to notice something. The Slayer was emitting a demonic aura of immense power; she was up to something. Although their purity protected them from her influence, even the Knights began to feel a feeling they almost never felt - Fear. The aura radiated through a large area around them. Though some Knights believed it would alert their enemies to their presence, Gabriel already knew they had no element of surprise whatsoever; whatever was besieging the city was more than powerful enough to be aware of their small presence.

*Rhiannon looked in the direction of the humans that approached from the distance. 'A demon? No. Demonhunter. Foolish humans. They'll destroy themselves with that power. Though there is something else. A magic I'm not familiar with. If this is how they want to play, I might as well raise the stakes a bit.'

Rhiannon drew a circle with a claw and put a paw in it. "Shadow Ravens, I need your assistance. Strange humans wielding unknown magic are coming this way. One of them is a Demonhunter. Negate and destroy."
Shadows appeared around Rhiannon and unfolded to reveal more black dragons. "A demonhunter, you say?"
"We've been following your progress. These humans seem to have no connection to this kingdom."
"I see. Take them out, but be careful. Their magical capabilities are unknown."
"We'll make it quick, my Queen. Shall we have someone assist you?"
"No. If you an't take them out, at least slow them down."*

The Knights and the Slayer felt the sinister magic being used. Something was heading their way, nothing particularly pleasant. The Knights braced themselves in the outskirts of Nexus, ready to strike at whatever was heading their way. Gabriel gripped his glaive tightly and the Slayer flicked her swords, and to the surprise of everyone around her, the blades of the swords separated into multiple small segments to form rather intimidating and dangerous bladed whips. Her demonic aura still kept growing and as the Knights readied themselves, their holy aura also grew rapidly. To any people who could sense both auras, it was an extremely odd mix of light and dark.

*in the meanwhile, the archonlings have got their new dresses on, which were all shiny mithril weave, with small armor peaces*

*suddenly the sounds of the hammers and magical buzzing stopped*
Milord *says the main blacksmith* Your new armor is finally ready

Excellent *says the archon, using his powers to infuse the Huge chunks of metal with his energy and materializing then on him* ..We are grateful to you all skilled artisans. But now you must take your families, which were with you all the time, and use the catacombs to secretly flee.. we are under attack and here is not safe anymore

(ok.. don't ruin this people.. I gotta save some of my people before this empire is ruined, ok? that's especially for you, attacking people!)

(aand yeah.. I added some armor on my archon so he's now like SC2 Archon :3 i like em very much :3)

The Knights scrambled to evade the shadow pulses and split themselves up in six groups, one group for each dragon. One person from each group stayed behind the rest as they charged forward with their glaives and swords ready to slash and stab at them. The ones that remained behind began throwing bolts of pure light and psychic energy at the dragons. The Slayer decided to herself that the Knights would not receive her help, and decided to head into Nexus to confront the ones draining souls, rushing through with immense speed.

lol This'll be fun. Kindof sounds like my fight with Misha in Elders. XD

*The shadow pulses ran along the ground and met to shoot into the air like a fountain. The knights seperated, and the dragons dodged the bolts of light and attacked the melee knights. Their weapons cut through the shadows and did no damage, and the shadows protected them from physical harm. A black fog soon began filling the area from the ground up and the dragons dissapeared.*

If you have a source of like to see with, I suggest you use it. It won't cut through the darkness, but you'll be able to see a bit more than shadows. It's kind of like a really thick clouds of dust in a battlefield, but black.

The Knights looked around. They began to back off and regroup as the shadow covered the battlefield. Several Knights began to cast enchantments on themselves and the armor of the Knights began to radiate with light. Combined, the Knights produced an impressive display of light and holy energy and remained closely together as a group, ever ready. The Knights began to enchant their own weapons with holy and psychic energy, which began to glow and hum with pure energy.

Meanwhile, the Slayer looked around as she ventured further into Nexus. Some people were fleeing and she knew she was getting closer and closer. Suddenly, she slashed her whip swords at several fleeing civilians in her way, cutting them down and she drained the energy of their helpless souls, empowering her weapons.

(EDIT: I'm draining souls to fight someone draining souls xD)

Nice, fighting fire with fire. XD

*The shadow dragons moved around the group of knights, barely noticible behind the thick, black fog. Some of the dragons dropped into shadow forms and rushed at the knights, thrusting out one of their paws to grab their legs. At the same time, another dragon dropped in from above.*

I love how well your taking this, Infinite. lol

The Knights had difficulty in seeing what was occurring, and many were knocked over by the dragons attacking from below, although all began scrambling to regain their stance. Several more were knocked down from the dragon attacking from above. Despite their battered position, Gabriel immediately took advantage of the one opportunity he saw, as he was able to see the rough location of the dragon from above when it had come down. Leaping towards it, Gabriel slashed his empowered glaive furiously at general location of dragon.

The Slayer continued to kill occasional fleeing civilians, who also began to run from her. She had slowed down as she came closer and closer to her opponent, now walking at a slow pace. Her aura was intense right now, as her power grew from the consumed souls.

(EDIT: Just going to point out that any power gained from my demon hunter's consumption of souls is temporary, so she shouldn't become overpowered. She's using soul sort of like fuel to her demonic power.)

*Rhiannon faced the Demonhunter. "I believe your group has misinformed you, Demonhunter. There are no demons here. Begone and let me continue my attack on this worthless city." Rhiannon shrouded herself in the same black fog that protected them from physical attacks. she then began to back, putting space between her and the Demonhunter.

From the ground, the shadow dragons grabbed the knights legs in their shadowy form and began dragging them through the dirt and into rocks. Their spells may protect them from harm, but the rides they were getting wouldn't be pleasant.*

*Kaden halted his attack as he sensed vast amounts of mana-usage creep to him like a fog bank. He turned towards the source. It was widespread, stretching across a large area nearby. And whatever it came from, it was very powerful. He knew Hellion would want to know of this, and decided to scout it out.

Raising his wings, he took flight, coincidentally pumping the flames to greater heights as he pushed into the sky.*

As the Knights began to get dragged beneath the earth, their formation began to suffer, but the Knights remained vigilant. Several of the Knights stabbed their glaives and swords harshly into ground and immediately, a combination of psychic and holy energy rippled through the ground, which freed some of the Knights that were stuck in the ground. Gabriel channeled a large amount of holy energy into his glaive, and slashed at the ground in front of himself with incredible force, generating an immense blast of holy energy that burst through the shroud and the ground, in an attempt to hit one of the dragons. Either way, the situation seemed chaotic.

The Slayer quickly closed the gap, ignoring Rhiannon's words. Her whip swords began to glow red and violently crackle with demonic energy. She leaped through the fog and whipped with her swords whips at where she sensed Rhiannon's ominous energy, sending a giant crackle of demonic energy as the blade flew through the air.

*Torin looked around. Nirthy had explained what was happening in less than a second trough their minds.*
"Torin.. We can help.. I can help you stabilize your powers. so that you may use it whenever you wish. And its not bound to your emotions.."
*Torin walked Towards the Archon.* "You have helped us. We shall aid you now."

*Rhiannon shifted into a shadow and moved locations, barely dodging the sword. as she moved, she spoke. "What are your intentions, Demonhunter? You protect this city, yet you care not for its people. Explain your actions and maybe we can settle this conflict peacefully."*
Rhiannon is still in shadow form, meaning she can move anywhere, unhindered by obstacles. And, is your Demonhunter ever going to reply?

(Sure why not ;P)

"I intend to annihilate threats to me or my power."

The Slayer twirled her whips over her head, the blades cutting apart several nearby buildings without problems. She felt increasingly powerful, feeding off the souls she has consumed and she began to wrap herself in her own shadows. The darkness was her element as well.

"But.." *Torin said but he was interrupted in his mind.*
"Torin.. Let it rest.. you heard her."
"People are dying there.. why can't we help them! You said yourself. 'The Archon is trying to save as many people as he can.'. Why not save the one's outside?!"
"Torin.. I'm sorry.. but you can not always help everyone."
"I don't care.. I will go there!"
"Torin listen.. We can not help more people. If you leave now. Then these people wont be save either. And what is the use of trying to save some. when the people who were almost out of danger die."
*Torin sat down angered. looking around as everything around him was moving.*

*We're at a standoff, Demonhunter. We both use the shadows, and neither one of us can touch the other without being harmed greater. Luckily for me, Ive dealt with many powerful demon, and to use demon powers, you have to think like one. Now, if you leave, I won't be forced to remove your soul.*

There's mountians in your area, right?

*Kalek stteled down on a rocky ledge high up on a nearby mountain. He was now at a vantage point where he could clearly see the city, and could get a general idea of what was going on. While he couldn't see the shadowy forms, he could see the souls rising. He didn't know what they were, but did not want to get too close to the battlefield. Whatever was there was far more dangerous to the city than his previous display.*
