My friend and I got an epic idea for a map which would use a 90* camera view on terrain. This of course would require rotated models so that the space would seem 2D to the player.
When we tried to rotate the unit models using W3ModelEditor, we encountered problems. For some reason whenever we try placing them inside the map they get distorted(fucked up). We think it is connected to the animations of models, but we are not sure.
If there is any way to go around this problem, please help us, as we've got a shitload of ideas for our map.
Note#1: * - degrees
Note#2: Not actual 2D units, we want them to be 3D with all their animations.
Example:
We rotate the Peon for -90* on his Y-axis, and then for -90* on his X-axis. In the ModelEditor it does seem that the model works until we run its animation.
