Hey guys i've got a problem making a 2d engine system with jump.
The only one i found in this site is the 2d engine system used in platform escape wich is this http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/...-08b-149850/?prev=search=platform&d=list&r=20.
The problem is that i need to change the pitch angle in order to see units like a normal 2d arcade game should show, but if i change that, whenever i move right, the unit will show good, but when i move left, the unit will turn upside down!
I thought about using another arrow movement system in that engine, but the problem is that the JUMP wouldn't work then.
What i wanna achieve is this, to make things clear: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/map-development-202/2d-metroid-engine-demo-here-119168/.
Obviously i need a lower jump but that's another story.
Another last thing, i think that if i place enemy units using the normal AI, they would just run to the player (flying basically) passing through places they are not meant to pass, they would basically walk over the map like a normal wc3 unit would do, but that would make them look like they were flying!
Any solutions?
P.S.
I could replace the 2D system with a 3D that looks like 2D by adding pathing blockers and make units go straight along a line but even then, i need a jump system that works by pressing the UP arrow and that lets me correct the movement while in air (like mario, for example)

I basically need that jump system into a 2D OR a 3D engine that plays like a 2D one.

map is not protected as stated by the maker, so that anyone can take a look at that.
