Elven Archer Voice Test - YouTube

The voice over test for unit of Elven Archer unit. Also you can see custom models for Human Farm and Human Barracks. --- Project Page and Media --- https://w...
@ShadiHD you're saying you're not following purist adaptation, yet changing the archer to the Warcraft III female version is a no-no.

@deepstrasz not at all, the Tech-tree is WC2 based with WC3 elements, the Units are all custom made to fit in that era, including the High Elf archer, having another female archer is just a lazy decision to be honest, Purism is about Lore, Gameplay and resources, that's the thing we avoided, other than that, we have complete artistic freedom on how we approach this, you can read the main thread again to see exactly the direction we're heading in.

It's really not that complicated, we're trying to recreate quite a few iconic units from WC2, while updating armies to also look fitting to their expanded appearance throughout all Warcraft lore.
So Lordaeron knights, footmen and peasants will resemble their WC2 image (knight with shield, horned helmet, warhammer weapon for example), while other kingdoms will look more like their WoW counterparts in colour scheme and aesthetic.

I think these archers are not for purists because they are more elegant than wilder elves from Warcraft 2. I like that.

It's not bad but compared to the original unit voice from the WC2 this voice is slower and deeper.

Voicing should be the least of your troubles. It requires proper equipment and at least some talent. Everything else only requires time. Keep up the good work.
