Nah I will probably not win. I am too lazy to, I worked few hours on this unhandy piece of shit and I feel it is enough, I will just fix it up abit, upload it and put a pretty screen with AA <3, lights and calculated shadows.

HT, how did you make that lava in the background?

It is pretty simple, heavy dungon fog (red) then affected by REAL fog, gets coloured like that. It is a trick I've tried out long time ago.

I am strting to doubt my chances of winning. I see nice clear terrains while mine is crowded. And yet, if I start over, I won't have a very good "open view" terrain. Those are very nice. Congrats!

Yeah, but to improve it requires us to know what to improve. And some of us don't know what else to improve. So that's where people tell us what needs improving.

Versaigen, sometimes the terrain idea that is chosen, is improved to the max of what it will be with what is available. Sometimes, to create a better terrain you may just need to start over.
And HT, psh that's lame!

That and the fact that I couldn't really be arsed as I am too lazy Probably a good job I didn't seeing as none of my ideas would've stood up in the running with some of these

dropped the statue because the image became to messy with it, I think It's better now.

What up with the water megafyr? Also you can see a line in the sky and it looked better with the other fog so you couldnt see the background quite clear.

Also, anyone knows what happened to rulerofiron? He said he would enter, I was looking forward to his terrain.

Megafyr, I like the idea of the shimmering water, except the few glow doodads, which I believe is what you are using, in the front delve into the ground, and you can see that they are then no longer circular. Otherwise I like that Idea.

Alright, if I do get others to help, you'll be one. I may just do it myself, although that seems a bit biased and won't give as good results, I think I'd be a pretty fair judge. Also it's easier.

That's awesome Megafyr. The lighting effect really sets a good mood. Id add some vegetation to the hills or something. Other than that, excellent work!

2 months period for a terrain contest is completely absurd. Two weeks, at maximum, should be the contest span.

Agree, 2 months is too long..maybe at the end some competitors would have already forgotten about this contest, lol
