Yet it was under his command that we took Osama Bin Laden's life.
I wouldn't expect someone with a hello kitty avatar to understand politics, so I will just assure you that you are mistaken.
He has proven himself a hero to the American people both through his willingness to work with the Pakistani people, as well as to seek out and kill the terrorist mastermind we've all been wanting to kill ourselves.

Well I see it in the TV now, that hes dead.

But why you celebrate so much? Well it's revenge for the 11 September but hey:
- How long the need for this - and how many innocent people died before ...
- Well he's dead, now someone else replace him
- Now these Al Kaida people want revenge and "assaults" will continue.

So at the end, nothing changes!

But well, HOW they really now that this was Bin Laden? In the German News they say a "Gesichtserkennung" .. well this means that they only saw them and said, that this is Bin Laden...
But no tests and no "examination" of this corpse, that they prove that he is the one ...

War and warmongering has nothing good. Even if the "big boss" is dies, but until this so many "innocent" people died before so at all there's no party for this ..

Also there are so many terrorists still out there ... concentration to this!!

[BTW I hope innocent is the correct word (google translator), it should mean "the same" as not guilty]
 
If I am a knight and you Arrowanwan is a dragon and I get to kill you and show your head to some random villager/peasants of whose brothers/sisters/children/parents/uncle/aunt/cousin/grandfather/grandmother/ancestor you've just killed. They will cheer in vengeance. That kind of a way. ^_^
 
Well it isn't just to celebrate his death. Thousands are now given closure with his death (the families of those who died in 9/11).

But I do agree that celebrating is premature. He has many generals and retaliation is inevitable. We just have to hope that it isn't in one of our countries.

Aro, to the American government, innocents dying is collateral damage. But don't think it is just them. Al-Qaeda and the Taliban have killed many innocents too.

What I don't get now is why our troops are still there. Why must Denmark, Australia and the other countries there remain fighting? It is America's war - not ours.
 
It's pretty obvious when dealing with small, amorphous groups like terrorist organizations that just killing the leader isn't going to stop them.

What this does mark is an end to a long man hunt that's taken what seems forever and a sort of vengeance to the one who claimed to have orchestrated the largest successful terrorist attack on the country, can you at least let them have that?

What someone said, how can you celebrate persons' death? The only good thing could be that some more lives are saved by now.

EDIT: It's trully sad as there is joy in Bin Laden's death, and nobody said anything about Royal Wedding that happened on friday in England....

The body has already been dumped at sea. I've heard various stories, from "buried in full accordance with Islamic practices" to "posthumously keelhauled in shark-infested waters".

Yes it probably means very little in the long run, atm it's mainly a symbolic victory (hopefully one that can lead us to just cutting our loses and getting out of there). But honestly, the country'd be stupid to put their guard down after this, and Al Kaida as an organization lacks the sort of resources or organization to organize anything larger then their last strike, what could they possibly do to a large country with an incredibly paranoid government as they are now?

News claims he was buried in the sea. He was killed much away from shore of the sea at Abbotabad. I think that their claims that he was buried at the sea, miles from the site, in a foreign anti-american country is almost impossible to do, therefore it seems as a conspiracy. I don't believe that the body is in sea, the american military forces have hidden the body, the claims that his body is in sea is a distraction, to hide the body of Osama Bin Laden. Osama Bin Laden body is probably taken by the military. My logic tells me that a manifestation of moving the body to the sea, miles away is impossible. The manifestation of killing Osama Bin Laden, was a quick attack, not knowing how to hide the body or acts, they claim that the body is at sea.
