are you kidding me?
No.
not everyone can be a "mature" 50 year old virgin who doesn't want to have a bit of fun with his life.
You do realize you don't need to be 50 to be mature? In fact one of the best mods we ever had was 11 years old while being funny, yet strict and dedicated.
and the fact that you expect that from the mods is complete BS.
It's pretty obvious that you're wrong.
Pyritie has been part of the hive for a long while
And your point is? Do you know what else is a part of something for a very long time before you die of it? AIDS. Does that mean you can't -when any sort of remedy would be invented that cures aids- get rid of aids because it's been a part of you for a long time?
and he keeps the fun in all of it.
No, just no.
the awards were somthing to get everyone excited about and make it so that everyone has somthing fun to look forward to when they come to the hive.
What kind of mentally challanged todlers are the members of thw to you?
It did not cause drama it just caused people like you to whine and complain about how you feel like you are responsible for who should be in charge and of who goes and who stays.
Not really. You see, in real life people like to be able to say wtf bugs them and if a lot of people agree, they strike or something. It's called "free speech" or "democracy"
It makes you look like a total retard in the end and does nothing to change anything.
Only you just called me a retard after making a bunch of void statements.
It may not change anything right now, that could be true. But I don't care. My chances may be slim but I'm dedicated.

Must I remind you that Pyritie actually linked to porn in the chat twice and didn't get demoted? While some people get 2 week bans for saying "penis" in the chat?

Everyone is with py and he has been a mod for a long time now, so i think Ralle did want him to be a mod. You are currently the only one who is against Pyritie. I mean come on, he is random and funny :D And he usually deletes his stupid posts afterwards. I say that they aren't really abusing their powers anymore, but they're sometimes in a bad mood and dominate a user :>

You make a good point there.
But Pyritie's doubleposts, even if he deletes them, may be a bad example to the new users. He should stop doing that. The random lulz and spammy stuff should be stopped too. It doesn't make Pyritie look like such a good mod as, even though he cleans his messes up, he still breaks the rules from time to time. This could lead to users breaking the rules as they see how "one of the mods" does so too. Punish this user and he'll start a dramathread. More drama, yay. The users will eventually leave and so will his friends...
Moderators shouldn't only enforce the rules, they should follow them too.

Well i suppose that is true, he should maybe at least reduce his lulz count, but come on now, this is the internet, where the random lulz happens. There are a lot of people in the real world who break the rules, so i guess it's harder to make people abide the rules in the web. Even Ralle sometimes does some random things :p
That's no excuse. If Pyritie can say "Ralle does it too" then users can say "mods do it too".

Infrequently, there are a couple bad eggs though. --That's my vote.

I believe that no one from the current mods should be demoted, especially pyritie(he is a part of the Hive), you have to admit him and all of his jokes(well some of them can be stupid but they weren't made with bad purpose).

I only have to add that mods should be punished too, that's all, cause "sometimes" they get away with nothing but a warning.

Moderators who behave bad tend to get punished even more since we must behave very good. If a random user starts flaming he will get negrep'd. If a mod does it he will get a lot of negrep and can be demoted. It's easier to see if a mod regularly does bad things than when users does it since we are pretty few.

If a regular user spammed as much as Pyrite does then they would be banned from the site by now with about -50 rep. All that happens to Pyrite is that he gets neg repped but what does that matter to him? He has like 2000 rep? Whats losing a few to him?

I agree with Devine and so do other users but they are afraid to say something because they will be neg-repped.

Ya moderators can have fun but how is breaking rules fun?(sometimes yes)
Spam != fun Double posts != fun
