Enter the savage and brutal world of Gorgar, home to many orcish tribes and ancient power hidden beneath the ground. As one of eight orcish warchiefs', your main objective is to destroy remaining seven unsurpers and seize the control over the continent for yourself...or die.

222808-albums7457-picture86941.png

Map terrain consists of breathtaking models and enviroment to provide great gaming features. Each orc clans has many different events, skills, heroes, units and strategy. For example Dreadfire Clan is specialized at conjuring powerful dark magic and it's gameplay is mainly based on ranged caster units and devastating spells. The world is populated by many creatures either hostile or neutral. Neutral creatures are mostly beasts like Kodo, who are wandering around looking for sources of water or food. If you decide to hunt one of those creatures down, they can provide you with crafting material/gold source "Fur". In mines beneath the ground you can gether iron and jewels with your Slaves from deposits located there. Hostile creatures are mostly Wild Orcs situated in their heavily defended vile strongholds. Should you gether more forces you can decide to attack them and dominate their strongold for yourself. In dark entrails of Dragonspire Depths you can hunt dragons and challenge their Broodmother, Sintaria. There are many secrets still waiting to be revealed in Gorgar, search and you shall find.

Bladgar

A clan of outcasts, defeated and exiled from their homeland, wandering the land in search for a new beginning. Once ruled by a mighty Warchief, Rag'hal, who perished in battle defending his kin from the invaders. His two sons now carry the burden of leadership, bestowed upon them by the right of blood. Forced to exile, Bloodbane traveled far to the west seeking shelter before their enemies. Every step brought pain, some warriors sliced off their tongues in symbol of defeat, ashamed and forever silent, some sought their own way and left the others, and some turned their pain into rage, cursing in promise of revenge. Even two brothers begun to argue and before long turned on each another. Seeing an opportunity and weakness of the brothers, Morkash decided to rise his own claim. Many followed Morkash, who promised them vengeance for all they suffered tenfold. Desecrating the right of blood, Morkash challenged the brothers, because orcs follow only the strong.

Looks promising and as well interesting but is it too early to make a thread without showing anything except for a short and brief introduction and game descriptions unless I can't see those images or there's just nothing.

But best of luck knowing that this would be a big project. I hope you can get utmost help from others and supports from supporters. I'll be your first one and +rep.

Hope to see some contents soon!

Yeah currently, im more working on gameplay rather than terrain, which is not so bad after all. I thought about mixing some tiles togheter, but it looks even more awful than bare sand. There is still a lot of work to be done, but Beta version 1.4 is already aviable on makemehost.com if you wish to try it.

Yes, there are humans. They are playable of course, but not fully finished. I now concentrate myself more on orcs, since they have the biggest impact on whole map. After all this game is called War of the CLANS, not War of the Human Castles ;)

I'm not saying I don't love the Orcs. To be honest, I absolutely love the work you've put into it, I just feel that you should actually add the human's way of getting their castle mainly due to the version I played before doesn't tell me any way to get my castle, I feel it's essential if you are indeed having those players there and having those beautiful spots for them. I mean, it's a good map and I commend all the work you've put into it, but... I'm also fond of using all the players you put in there to begin with.

This looks very intersting, the correct name not be "War of orcs clans?"?

I don't really understand your question.
This is thread on a project called War of the Clans not "War of orcs clans".

I'm not saying I don't love the Orcs. To be honest, I absolutely love the work you've put into it, I just feel that you should actually add the human's way of getting their castle...

I released humans only because people were impatient to try something new. If you think i made a mistake, i can easily close those spots.

Was playing human, and I did not spawn. It was also great war so.... bug maybe? :goblin_jawdrop:

Nope, it wasn't a bug. Humans spawn only after Call of War game mode is selected (voted). If somebody is afk and didn't vote, you need to wait for him. That is why I recommend afk checks before start, but it is also a bit my mistake, I need to fix the timer on Mode select trigger.

Afk checks never work and I mean never I even threaten the kick plus I had a spoofers who never voted and I couldn't get rid of. I feel like it should just time out and you do not get to vote because it just to easy to troll. 4/10 that how many I got to play as human with this voting system.

Yeah okay thanks for that it really annoying. I will review the map later after i played all the orc and human i prefer to do full game-play then do a review. In short it looking pretty good the game is rather fun I like the strong hold such as the vile fortress and how you can build things in your own fort I do not see that all that much. The human are a nice twist on it all It a good idea any way cannot wait to try it out more later on today. That was not even a review it was meant to be a I got into 4 real game with human when 6 game I did not.

I indeed tested the humans in singleplayer with Call of War. My question is why not add them to all the modes? Mainly it's just I don't start with my heroes who I have to bring to it first. If you just add that, keep the regular triggers and let me keep my home, that'd be fine. I also kind of hope that I could have one where Highguard and Darkhold (Or something along those lines of 'evil') are against each other and you just remove the ability for the expert mages of Highguard to teleport into Darkhold, it'd probably work just fine.

My question is why not add them to all the modes?

I will expand each mode with additional options:

Conquest = standart ffa
submodes:
- Mercy - Defeated players will join the player who killed them.
- Pink Insects - Automaticaly allows humans to play.
- To War! - All players start with army of 25 troops.

Pact of Blood = 2 orc teams
submodes:
- Pink Insects - Allows humans to play.
- To War! - All players start with army of 25 troops.

*Changes are not final, new modes will be added/changed later.

Thanks for your support.

The most unique feature about the map is its building system. All buildings are "researched" in the Hall of Warchief and afterwards appear at their positions. I thought about adding some building animations during the research so the building won't just appear from nowhere and maybe even ability for players to select a position of their own, but with some region restrictions.

My skills are not enough to think up how to do it yet, but with help of hive community nothing is impossible.

@Argos
You're welcome ;) I've updated with another design btw. Removed the all-so-generic thrall as mentioned. The new one seems more fitting as well.

@Heinvers
Thanks! :) I've replaced the design. The thrall one seems too empty anyway. :D
