Ogre lore, hope you like it
During the first and the second war, the ogres fought, forced, yet not totally unwillingly, alongside the orcs. While the orcs won the first war, they were defeated in the second war, and the surviving ogres abandoned the Horde.
At some point before the third war, the brutal ogre Kor’gall led a tribe of ogres, the Stonrmaul clain, to the unknown lands west, the lands later known as Kalimdor.
He continued his ruthless rule here, and when the new Horde asked for his help against Theramore, he refused. The Horde champion Rexxar, did, however, not take no for an answer, and challenged Kor’gall for leadership.
With the help of the wild, Rexxar succeeded, and led the ogres to the Horde, making them help the orcs against Theramore. However, after the orcs defeated the humans, Rexxar decided to return to the wilds, leaving an ogre magus, Mai’Kor, in charge of the clan. Mai’Kor led the clan well the first years, maintaining the friendship to the horde, and leading the ogres to greater glory. However, some of the Stonemaul was angry with Mai’Kors rule, and assassinated him, and put Kor’Galls son, Kor’thol, in charge of the tribe. Kor’Thols rule was as ruthless as his fathers, and he quickly cut the bonds to the Horde, and ruined whatever progression Mai’Kor had made.
So once again, Thrall has summoned the champion of the Horde, and it is now up to you to bring the ogres into the Horde.
