Ok, I do not want my eyebrows virtually shaved, now on to business. I would be glad to help you Grey, my time schedule would be, well pretty much anytime after school when I'm done with homework, and chores. And a little after break, wrestling practices start and I'll have less time to work on lore, but I will still have time. I have a piece he that I thought up.
Just off the quiet coast of Theramore a ship sits, rocking ever so slightly in the gentle waves. Soldiers stand guard outside with sword and torch in hand to ward off the darkness of the encroaching night, and any creature that dare stray too far. These soldiers, tired and weary still somehow find it somewhere in themselves to keep themselves awake, this something is survival. The creatures that lurk in these woods are no less than true nightmares. The other part of this survival happens to be making sure that the incoming supplies make their way onto the ship and back to the island.
-Elsewhere-
"Why do we have to walk these damned woods at night? If you ask me, those soldiers should be escorting us themselves. It's their damn supplies in the first place!" said a man who was easily identifiiable as drunk and angry. "Calm yourself Tom, do you want the whole forest on our heels?" a whimper is heard as a man cowers from the sheer boom of the authoratative voice. "Oh, now you gone and scared the damned man, I'll make sure he's ok, you go on ahead captain." As a main left the main group to comfort the scared and drunk Tom, the rest of the party continued on their path to the rendevous. "Atleast we can drop the dead weight, he was slowing us down."
"Tom, are you ok, comeon, we need to catch up with the rest of them, we don't want to be . . ." as the man is cut off by a deep, guttural growl. "What, what was that?" Tom manages to say even through his hazed state. "I'm not sure, but we need to get the hell out of here!" And as he said this, the beast padded out from the undergrowth of the forest floor to confront him. "No, no, not this, I don't want to die!" and then silence as the creature of the night overcame the two men.
-Back at Base Camp-
"Good lord, I need a drink! I'm starting to hear things now" spoke a guard who had obviously heard the cries of Tom and his unknown band member. "Well, here take mine, I 'ont be needing it, gotta' keep sharp. They'll be arriving soon." said Captain Xavius. "Now the lot of you, look sharp, the supplies should arrive within the hour!" "Yesh shir!" said the obviously drunk aforementioned guard. Soldiers at their post, blade and torch in hand waited what seemed an eternity for that one fateful hour to pass, and when they had waited their share of eternity, the supplies arrived, just on time. "Good, men, you keep watch while these boys load the suplies onto the ship." One soldier, who had just a tad too much alcohol failed to see the shape closing in on him and when it hit him, it hit him hard. Within seconds the other soldiers were coming to his aid, but it was too late for him, and it would be too late for them if they didn't act soon. This creature, it stood 7 feet tall, it was shrouded in black and held itself twin blades, one of which was obviously poisoned. The guards charged at the creature, but it was just too quick for them, it jumped over their heads and came down swiping it's blades fast and precisely. Within just a few moments of the assault on the base camp, 3 families were left without a father, a husband or a brother. The soldiers finally reallized that they needed to change their strategy quickly. One guard swiped his blade in a low arc, the creature quickly jumped thinking it too easy, only to have been tricked and slashed higher by another blade. The creature fell, with a gash on it's upper chest. Before the guards could finish the kill, the captain warded them off. "This is a different manner of creature then we have seen, it is limber, acrobatic, and it uses weapons, we must see what it is. Tie it up and bring it into the lower deck." After all knots had been tied, and the mysterious aggresor made ready to be indentified, they drew their blades, even though it was unarmed they did not want to risk anything. As the captain took off the hood of which concealed the creatures face, it was revealed to them that "This man, he is a night elf!"
