Hey guys some of you may know that I've been making an RPG for a while and with reforged coming out I've more or less restarted the project, making use of some of the new features but also putting any of the modelling portion on hold as I wait for Reforged's actual model editor as Magos often makes me want to... anyway, I would much appreciate a better modelling program. That being said I had already created a lot of rough assets for my game. This Lava Golem is one of them. If it's well received and I don't have to do too much updating to get them Hive ready then I'll probably submit the rest of them too. Anyway, cheers to reforged and such a great game ahead!
Note: This unit is intended as a Neutral non player colored unit and emits light. Warcraft 3 does not like having more than a handful of lights in the same small area, therefore ideally this unit should not be a casual unit.
You know some models are allowed to be designed to be used as a one-of like this thing (because of the omnilight) and frankly you'd lose a ton of what makes this thing any sort of attractive by putting team color on it.
Same reason why the Infernal has no team color whatsoever.
Okay it might take a few weeks though I've never done that before and I'm getting married this weekend and then going on a vacation. If it's easy to do I'll try and fix it before.

How many emitters did you put on the thing? Assuming what your saying is that it lags the game if you spam it like a green camp creep or level 1 rpg mob.
I don't remember their exact count but the lava golems are low emission, just threw 100 on my screen at once and had no problems (This is the non-light version, Warcraft 3 doesn't like lots of lights.)
