its pretty cool, i like it except from the skin, maybe you should try a on in-game or as i we talk add firelord armour on the cat for better looking

The lava on the skin looks pretty static, maybe try some light particle emitters or a glow or something?

I like the idea but the texture could be better and the filesize is a little bit too high for such a model :O
