Idea! Pretty dope light bulb tho

Story

Sometime after events of "The Frozen Throne", many nations came to this mysterious kingdom and wanted to conquer this land, you can help one of the sides.


Tactics
In this map you need to gain control of two goldmines to have chance to survive and prevail in this unfriendly land. Fountain of health and mana may be important to hold the line against your enemy, and they could grant you access to enemy gold mines.

Update the screenshots to show an overview and specific areas of the map.
this imprtant because apart from balance, the terrain is the most important part of a new melee map.
Your current screenshots show us barely anything about this pecific map; Everybody already know what the orc race looks like.

Starting area is too small, you could increase size of the area meant for base building. Instead of having 4 taverns you could have 2 by placing them closer to middle. Doodads near starting locations are annoying also they are small already. There is only one base entrance. Teal's base is the most protected one. I really like that you didn't copy paste terrain, but you should have made it more symmetrical. You haven't set acquisition range to camp for any creep. Neutral camps are too protected. Orb of Frost drop on Troll Priest is really bad idea, the worst part is that Dragon in the middle drops it too. Even though it's 100% drop rate him and only 33% for Troll. Doodads near neutral camps make them even harder to kill. Terrain near middle camp could be smoother. This map could have some Alterac mountains lore. Also you could have turned sky on when you were taking screenshoots.

Please do this. Basses are too well defended. Drops are too imba, some make no sense like Ogre Magi ring of regen drop.

Thanks for another suggestions, but since i'm currently busy now only tomorrow i will make update. Also i'm really not trying make map symmetrical.

Gameplay
The gameplay sticks to the usual Melee strategies. However, the map layout would risk players whenever they go creeping, especially to camps.
The engagement area usually go for the central field or the outposts. Ambushing enemy while creeping is also a good choice (just don't get counter ambushed though).
The item drops could use more work though.
You could increase the starting gold mine's golds though, for a slightly longer gameplay. (Optional)

Aesthetic
I'm not the best in terrain making nor evaluating, but I'll give some advice.
I kinda dislike the tile variation in most areas (the contrast is quite annoying, personally). (Opinion, doesn't subtract score)
In term of symmetry, I would recommend to change location of the merc camp and goblin merchant (either switch north & south or east & west). It will help balance them out.
The distribution of trees is quite dangerous for creeping at the merc camp and goblin merchant, where you can easily lock your enemy escape using your troops with barely a way out. Either widen the space slightly or lower the depth of the path.
The center could use a better composition of doodad, the current one feels quite out of place. (Opinion, doesn't subtract score)

Bug
Distance of Starting Gold Mine and Town Hall is quite long, bringing Humans and Orcs into sort of disadvantage.
Gnoll Brute drops Ring of Prot +5, Health Stone and such? What!?
I also noticed that the Mercenary Camp drop sort of equal or weaker items, albeit being more difficult (a 3 charge Healing Ward? well...)
Mercenary Camp (South) can cause the purchased unit to stuck between building and trees.
Front Mines unguarded, in Melee this is a risky thing. (Optional Issue)
The Map is not set to the Latest Patch. (Major Issue)

Summary
It's a promising melee map with some different tricks to play with. However, there are some major concern regarding balance which needs to get sorted out. Else, this map is a good choice for quick runs.
