Head Ref Geoset

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.

At first this model seems to just be the villager model, which it is but it has been altered for a different use.

I made this model to help save time when making attachments and that is what it does so please allow me to explain my reasoning.

As I made attachments (particularly inside G max) I would have to resize them and then position it around the pivot point to sit right on the villager model (model that has the most attachments made for it).

The resizing pert I could do by sizing it around the villager geoset which was good but than I sat there for at least 10-20 minutes moving it a bit and reloading it into the Warcraft 3 editor to see if it looked right.

This got me thinking, what if I could size my model around a geoset that was already in the correct position so as to make it to were my attachment would appear EXACTLY in game on the model as it was position in the model editor.

And that’s why I made this, it has been positioned so that the head attachment is exactly on the pivot point so any attachments sized around it will also appear in game exactly in the position it was in the model editor.

Final words: I can see reasons why this could be rejected but I decided to upload it to see what other people think and see if it might be useful (main word right there) as a time saving tool.

Thank you for all comments and thoughts!

(If this actually turns out to be liked, I can upload another for chest attachments)

Really useful but its place is not in the model section.
You see, the model section is for models to be used in maps directly. This is useful for the creation of such models, but it is not such model itself, so it belongs to the forums.
Make such ones for all of the villager's attachment points and upload it as a zip in the modeling forum, I'm sure it will be of great use to attachment modelers (me included)

So yeah, if you have the rest of the attachment points i might use them for my upcoming runestone armor set :)
