The effect persists upon death if used with a dummy (solved it, I had to set the dummmy as "does not decay"). You could use a birth, stand and death animation for the field.
The area is always fixed. Make the circle scalable.
The particles' area is squared. Try making it smoother. (not so noticeable, tbh, if you want, ignore this)
Besides all that, the effect is really good for an AoE buff.
