YouTube link doesnt play the video

I have noticed it after ive added my map introduction post
The youtube window aprears but it just get stuck on "Loading..."
You can see it at the bottom of http://hiveworkshop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34114
or look at this. I waited about an hour and the screen was still black

Indeed: the bug in the YouTube video tags has long existed.

Some vBuelletin forum sites seem to have found solutions: we are still searching for our own bug extermination method.

Well i go on youtube and about 70% or so of the vids i try to watch from there get stuck on loading. I also heard the aussy government is trying to block youtube.

Solutions to the problem have been sought in the past:

...each video on YouTube has a unique code after the ID in the code. But the problem is not only does it seam to be unique to every video, but it is changing constantly...

Some new codes exist at vBulletin.org that might be useful. Only Ralle could say for sure.

For the time being, I think it's OK to simply provide a valid hyperlink to important videos: a new window will be opened when such links are clicked and no bandwidth will be drawn from other sites unless the link is activated.

Yes, embedding code in the forums is NOT allowed, and it is disabled, so that's why it doesn't work. Furthermore, we created youtube tags for this reason, but they have been broken since we created them, so there is really no way to post a youtube video. If you want to that badly then just post the damned link.

I created a new youtube tag. You put in the "embed" text from youtube.. But it's not fully functional yet. But it works.. Try it
