RunDLL is not a virus, but trojans can piggy back onto em.

they dont appear on startup apps or in services

It's a system file. It manages many tasks, like starting applications and shutting down.

No rundll doesnt have a job by itself you run it with a dll file and it... ummm.... you got what I mean
