I'm not lying here. You can mod WoW. The only thing about it though is whatever you modded, it only appears for you unless someone else has your files as well. Here's a program able to extract WoW files (that is if you have WoW installed.)

Yeah, some people have turned their pets to dungeon bosses and changed the appearance of their armor. Not only that but people have gone far to a nude patch. Yes, you can actually screw up some files and make their undergarments disappear. Also a tutorial for changing the appearance and all that.

Though it won't appear to others like I said, I'm sure you can make a private server and mod it from there. But really that could be just a fantasy. And no, you wouldn't be in trouble for modding the interface.

The My Warcraft Studio allows you to extract the models seperately. Unfortunately, they're not in the format for WC3 and no converter I no of.

I wonder if Darky has been up to something like this. :roll: Wouldn't be surprised.

i've been up to something similar, except i just scratch-model near exact replicas.

that last one i even made replicas of WoW armor. all is nearly identical except those thingies hanging from shoulders- those are gonna be alphaed for chains.
