World of Warcraft: Heroes Return is a total conversion Multiplayer Open Role Playing Game (MORPG) that inspired from original World of Warcraft franchise that developed by Blizzard. I'm trying to made the 1st ever WoW total conversion in multiplayer ORPG version (as I haven't seen any). As an ORPG, the project is designed to be played by multiplayer in order to experience a better result playing the game (especially for ORPG fans). My aim on this project is to create a simple yet fancy and fun gameplay with eye catching fantasy-like terrain and effect that able to made the players has a World of Warcraft feeling when playing the game.

There are currently 12 available classes from original World of Warcraft available, 10 playable classes (Orc Warrior (Arms), Human Paladin (Protection), Human Death Knight (Frost), Orc Death Knight (Blood), Night Elf Rogue (Assasination), Orc Hunter (Survival), Night Elf Hunter (Marksmanship), Blood Elf Mage (Fire), Human Mage (Frost) and Draenei Priest (Holy)) and 2 iconic characters from Warcraft III history as a secret characters (Arthas Menethil (Paladin) and Grom Hellscream (Warrior)) which can be played by entering a secret code that you can get as you play the game further.
Character model and abilities concept might be changed anytime as the progress updated.

Instead of medievalist one, I'd go for a fantasy theme kind of terrain for the project. Some cracked area terrain on this project is inspired from World of Warcraft: Cataclysm patch when there's a crack on land filled with magma deep in caused by Deathwing. Here's current screenshots of terrain looks (you can check my album to see the progress of the terrain from the early alpha until it is now).
These terrain design might be change and improved from time to time as the project progressing by.

Each creeps has their own status differently, as well as their own abilities (and at least 1 active ability each, so the battle ain't about only hack and slash!). Creeps type divided into 4: Normal, Dungeon, Elite and Boss.

No RPG would be complete without a dungeon, dungeon enemies drops more valuable items than non-dungeon enemies. You can go further into depth of dungeon by removing invisible pathing blocker by defeating each Bosses.

I have played your map and I must say it's a decent type of an RPG packed with a great terrain, and you can really feel the essence of the WoW game into it.

As I've said, the terrain is simply amazing. Terrain is pretty much detailed and it captured the fantasy looks of the WoW with your own image of how Azeroth looks like.

As a RPG though, it's decent. It could be fun but simply what you'll be doing is killing creeps, Elites and finally bosses and a little of quests seeing that there are still few quests. But it's worth with all those things and also talking to each NPCs for secrets and etc. I really liked also the way that there are now certain limitations to the equipments you are acquiring and what's better is it arranges by itself but as what the others said here, even with full inventory, I think you should still be able to stack potions or scrolls whenever you have it in your full inventory. There are quite a decent amount of equipments in-game but you surely would be staying alot with the same equipment because creeps drops the same things over and over again, at least for my experience with the game. The bosses are realy challenging but their drops are simply getting too much repetitive. In my experience, it only dropped a Serenity and a Scroll and no drop after that. I was hoping for another equipment of different classification to drop but it looks like that's all but the gold and honor rewards are worth the fight though, really worth it. The descriptions looks sweet and organized (lots of colored texts to depict things), grammar looks good but there are some that can be improved and etc.

Overall, I'll end it here. For me, I can approve this with a rating of 3/5 (Acceptable).

Found something. :)
It has something to do with the inventory. The items can be transferred to other slots..if you know what I mean...which obviously lets the player to equip 2 or more Weapons.
Anyway, a very magnificent update, andrea. *Thumbs-Up*

also once your inventrory is full you can not stack any potions anymore. I had Weapon, shield, armor, ring and big hp potions (5 or so) picked up a small one. Then another small dropped but it said the inventory is full.

What i think:
All attack damage skills need to be reworked.
Im try to play by fire mage and that a...suck. Rly. Need lower CD for all damage spells, and reduce damage from this spells to fixed amount + scale from attributes.
This is boring when i'm waiting for CD and watch on mage auto-attacker.

Review emerges!

I have played your map and I must say it's a decent type of an RPG packed with a great terrain, and you can really feel the essence of the WoW game into it.

As I've said, the terrain is simply amazing. Terrain is pretty much detailed and it captured the fantasy looks of the WoW with your own image of how Azeroth looks like.

As a RPG though, it's decent. It could be fun but simply what you'll be doing is killing creeps, Elites and finally bosses and a little of quests seeing that there are still few quests. But it's worth with all those things and also talking to each NPCs for secrets and etc. I really liked also the way that there are now certain limitations to the equipments you are acquiring and what's better is it arranges by itself but as what the others said here, even with full inventory, I think you should still be able to stack potions or scrolls whenever you have it in your full inventory. There are quite a decent amount of equipments in-game but you surely would be staying alot with the same equipment because creeps drops the same things over and over again, at least for my experience with the game. The bosses are realy challenging but their drops are simply getting too much repetitive. In my experience, it only dropped a Serenity and a Scroll and no drop after that. I was hoping for another equipment of different classification to drop but it looks like that's all but the gold and honor rewards are worth the fight though, really worth it. The descriptions looks sweet and organized (lots of colored texts to depict things), grammar looks good but there are some that can be improved and etc.

Overall, I'll end it here. For me, I can approve this with a rating of 3/5 (Acceptable).

Really enjoying it so far, great map. I will say though, Trolls are a PC race, yet no characters for them and then one of the first quests is murdering them. Prejudice against trolls :(

yeah this is a stacking issue I haven't fix, some people whom I've played with weren't really care about this so I let as it is. thanks for the report.

I had no plan to include attribute in the damage (might be some abilities would, but most wouldn't) as I already made the comparison between spell damage bigger each level than their common damage even when they had legendary in their inventory, and as far as I know from playing other ORPGs, having attribute as damage aren't really always had satisfying damage sometimes. As the mage spell cooldown, I'll think about it (I know it's fancy if mages have to be able to spam spell damage and such).

Indeed, as I haven't worked much on quest. As most of them are repeatable and able to be take over and over again until hero get certain level, so I guess adding another similar one in same level wouldn't be really that necessary. as other storyline quest aren't ready to take.

it's because normal creeps that you've found in non-dungeon only dropped a common tier one, I had made variety of their dropped items though, 3 items for each normal creeps, 5 for dungeon creeps and 8 for elites and bosses creeps. not all of the items drop rate are above 50% so if you got quite repetitive dropped items, it might be because the other items chance are low.

hehe I would apologize for a Troll-race fans in WoW as they aren't a playable race in this map, but as a creeps instead.

beside warcraft underground, some WoW resources are from Ddahe Cafe - korean site I've found back on 2009 (it's closed now), some are from XGM.
and some WoW designed models are my personal edit & geomerge so you wouldn't find it anywhere. :)

♦Periodic dinging sound effects--gets annoying after a while because it doesn't stop.
♦Gameplay was a bit bland but everything looks amazing and surprising depth to NPCs.

*Edit* Forgot to remind you I'd like a rolling system of sorts =)

About the killing quests, u set the one who killed the monster will got the credit, how about the another one who assist in killing the monster? He got nothing. I hope u can improve this :D

A question : How about the items that dropped by monsters which didn't take by player and left it over there? I cant take them for sell and also i think will cause map lag if there are too many items on ground.

Wow, at last, the long wait, I found a bug at Grom's abilities, he got 2 abilities with the same name, Arthas is really cool hero but his portrait is so weird, he looks like he will "kiss" someone in his portrait, and for Alexendros Mograin, I found him but I couldnt take the quests inside Azjol Nerub, not even 1 quest, why?

1. I didn't know about this, what player number you're on when you're unable to pick certain class due to range? I'd go check this one.
2. which effect? the "ping" one each tme creeps revive?

yep, assist doesn't get kill point on the quest, since the quest is taken personal (not all player get it) so kill point only get by the last hit of person that killed the creeps.
and yes, I'm noticing this, I would add -clear command in next version to remove all of the items in the ground. (only P1)

ah, which ability? I might miss-change the tooltips of it.
haha okay, I'd go change his potrait on next version, I was made his face potrait kinda close up rather than normally.
Ashbringer quest aren't available yet in the game, it'll be available when I have Northerend region created. The is why I put "Unable to take the quest" red colored tooltips on it.

i think i'll try it, looks interesting, i would like to chime in the unnecessary want of having all races with all classes eventually please, i.e blood elf pally/ orc mage, etc.
I wouldn't include all races in the game for variety of reasons, especially size factor, no matter how hard I try to reducing the size of each materials, it's always possible to be oversize quickly if not selective. but I plan to include all of the classes (except monk) in the future. BE paladin is also on my list to create in next release.

well, beside non-mainstream visual, the gameplay of it is still pretty much incomplete, even the pick has bug on multiplayer (got it fixed but didn't release the fixed version)
importantly, that fanmade map was using actual resource from Valve Dota 2 (even if I had reducing polycount of it massively from 1,5mb+ into below 300kb each heroes), and as far as I know, ripped resource from other than Blizzard game is prohibited to be uploaded in hive, doesn't matter how much far it has been edited or geomerged.

Found Bug!

Weapon bug: Please fix this. I will show u example. If I picked a Trainee Axe, it dropped, bcoz there is weapon in Slot 1. but I change Trainee Sword to Slot 2, and then I picked Trainee Axe. It was putted to Slot 1. So you will get two attachments and damages. It make me angry! Fix, Fix!

Found serious bugs that regarding to save/load system.

1. Save/load system is not turn off after a player picked/loaded a hero,since the save/load system including saving player position,this can make the players repeatedly load their hero and keep using ult to kill bosses.

2. Save/load system when loaded(2nd times) the gold is reset to previous gold amount but the honor did not reset.(Not too important i think)

3. Items are not soulbound. This make player can give their items to other character and save them without killing bosses.

Other bug :

1. Evergreen north entrance got the bug that will make hero keep invulnerable although u already out of the town. Here's the reply :
