This is my first real, triggered and working RPG. I'm very new so I think I'm doing very well with what I have so far..
Currently its kind of a beta
What I've Done So Far:
1 Questline Completed
Questline 2 99% Done
Fully Triggered Quest
Balanced Units Out
1 Merchant Set Up

Features:
Floating Text
EXP/Gold Gain From Quest
Stamina and Intellect instead of Strength and Intelligence
Revive system (Still testing, may or may not work)
Cinematic-like Battle with Fade filter
Not much, but its a lot to me because of my skill..

ALSO: Comment on everything! I want to know how good I'm doing, Good critique please!:thumbs_up:

pretty fast its ok.
i suggest adding more space in the paths, i couldnt find the paths well. remove some trees and make the paths bigger, and also the areas.its a good quest but will this be multi player or single? if its multi add more difficulty and ping the areas u needa go too.

Thanks for the reply ZFMGK, No it will not be multiplayer, I'm nowhere near good enough to make a multiplayer RPG, But I will make the path larger I can barely find it myself.
Also I found a bug when test playing it for the 200th time that when you finish the entire questline it doesn't end the quest, so I'll have to edit the triggers to update the quest again and say its finished.
 
Haha yeah its just

event - unit is issued an order targeting a unit

condition - issued order equal to attack
condition - owner of ordered unit is an ally of owner of target unit of issued order

action - order ordered unit to move to position of ordered unit
 
Event - Unit is attacked.

Condition - Attacking unit is an ally of Attacked unit.

Action - Order Attacking Unit to Stop.



This also works.

(And no, you won't be able to strike a target before the trigger kicks in. "Is Attacked" works as the unit is beginning their attack (mid swing.) And they will be stopped before any damage is dealt/the attack lands.)


Whatever works though.
 
You might want to make some changes to the Rolf character. I was able to take his items (the Book of Alchemy and Cloth Armor Set) from his inventory and put them in mine.

I can also use the Fireball spell from him.

Also, it would be nice if items bought from him went into my inventory directly.

Those problems come from his ability 'Shop Sharing.' You should probably remove all his spells and keep only the items he sells.
