I've been making an RPG style map for a couple of weeks now, and I'm focusing on the extra things that make it stand out from other RPGs.
I have pets, quests, turorials, storyline etc and I've got it set in such a way that replayability won't be an issue.
By the way, this isnt an Open RPG, its more of the guided type (because that's what I specialise in).
Anyway, I'm trying to make it as good as possible, so any suggestions would be really useful.

I am good with triggers and I'm an experienced mapper (even though you won't find much of my stuff on wc3sear.ch, its mostly B.net dled), but my terraining seriously needs work.

i dunno, make your own extended inventory system?

have 'karma' related questing?... eg: suppose to get something back for someone, option of just selling it to the store

incoporate a custom damaging system?

vary up quests to include actual other gameplay types, like tower defence, 'maze' maps, DOTA, etc...?

ok sorry, i'm not in a creative mood right now, i pretty much just wrote down features that are in my RPG :S... but its something right?
