Why druid doesn't have int as main attribute?

Just like the title, I mean why not let druid become int hero? It is kinda weird for an agi hero doesn't put point in agi and have a weak attack power.

Zwieb can answer this personally, we should really just create a F.A.Q sticky. The druid is not int as there are already quite a few int based classes ingame, druids are meant to function as a hybrid. Eventually they may have skills that dish out damage based off int, but with nukes that are built for hunters (Arrow skills), having them dish out damage and heal insane amounts seems a little overpowered. In future there may be reason to stat more agil in to them but currently they function pretty well with high int. They can literally mainheal nearly as well, if not better at times, than a bishop but without the benefit as shield or res

Crusader with Celestial Zeal is as good as main int already.
I just want Druid as int for self-defense purpose, plus some extra damage if no one require buff. But if Druid going to be full-time caster, that's fine.
